I like that he bought it on Rusev Day. Or is it now Miro Day?

I don’t care for AEW’s product or Tony Khan’s booking and I don’t care to see ROH assimilated into that fold. If TK can restrain himself and not turn ROH into another one of his abundant medicocre shows, then fine. But I’m not counting on it. This gives me the vibe of when WWE tried reviving ECW. It was a poor fascimile that in the long run was just more WWE, totally lacking any of ECW’s soul. I don’t believe ROH will last as it’s own entity very long without just being folded into AEW and forgotten. I hope I’m wrong.

Perhaps I look at things concerning Tony Khan with rose colored glasses, but I think he has enough respect for the traditions of wrestling to present Ring of Honor in the most authentic way possible. Will it all be you cup of tea? Probably not all the time, but I think you should give them a chance to see how they present the show Mania weekend.

Completely disposable and largely forgettable content. Tony’s heart is in the right place I think, but this screams a showcase for generic dime a dozen Indy darling of the month that have the same spot fest boring matches.

I am curious to see what they do and am trying to maintain a shred of optimism. I want to trust TK on this. But I languished through his best intentions during the first six months of AEW before I had to tap out. And what I’ve seen off and on since then doesn’t seem much better aside from landing some hall of fame talent. I have no qualms with those who like what AEW does but ROH cannot be presented in the same way and still be ROH. And that’s where my faith wavers. TK has shown time and again that he can’t help himself from going off the rails. We’ll see.

It's not going to be ROH that's for certain. It may retain the name but it will lose the identity, that will cause mileage to vary for some people.

You guys would rather that ROH was assimilated into the WWE machine? I think the point that he kept WWE from getting that content library and all the intellectual property is being lost on some. There's NO WAY if WWE ever got it you'd get anything close to a full ROH section on the stinky 'cock. Tony Khan already seems to have a (at least) tentative plan in mind to get the old ROH stuff on a streaming service. If nothing else, be happy for that.

They are expressing concerns about how Tony/AEW will handle ROH--fair concerns and criticism. Tony and AEW can be fairly criticized, and criticizing AEW/Tony does not mean it must become a WWE v AEW fanboy rumble. Plus WWE chose not to purchase ROH for a reason.
