Hello folks,
My home printer has finally crapped out on me. I'm looking at printers and I thought I would ask if anyone has purchased a home printer and really like what you have. Especially printing it color on card stock. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello folks, My home printer has finally crapped out on me. I'm looking at printers and I thought I would ask if anyone has purchased a home printer and really like what you have. Especially printing it color on card stock. Any help would be appreciated. I suddenly found myself with the need for a new printer a couple months ago. I did as much research as a research nerd could do, and came up with the HP Smart Tank 7001. I paid about $300 for mine, which is quite a bit, but it uses liquid ink rather than cartridges, and the ink it comes with is reported to last for about two years. Now, I don't know about that. But I've been using it pretty solidly for two months and have barely made a dent in the ink reservoirs. Any other printer, I'd have had to replace the ink cartridges at least once by now. It handles cardstock like a dream, and if you want to get fancy, it prints on both sides of the page (though I have not tried this on yardstick, so don't act on that feature based on my recommendation). Honestly, I cannot recommend this printer highly enough. It's a big investment up front, but it's going to more than pay it back in unpurchased ink cartridges. |

Honestly, I cannot recommend this printer highly enough. It's a big investment up front, but it's going to more than pay it back in unpurchased ink cartridges. Do you print out color bootlegs? Do they come out nice? |

Do they come out nice? Yes, I do. Sometimes I have to tweak the dimensions or the spacing a little, and sometimes I don’t. But they come out looking gorgeous. |
