The LOW team returns! We take a look at the next issue of the Club Galactica Super Report, this one from September of 1989! We are joined by Club Galactica founder Mark Ashby, as well as long-time promoter Matt Dickendesher! Hear about the Galactica Cup, a fan-made newsletter, one of the first preview of Invasion III (AKA Invasion 2090), and more! Will the conversation between Mark and Matt be civil or will it lack decorum?! Find out what these videos have to do with this episode! Uncharted Territory: Episode 71

That Kindergarten Cop scene is a cinematic masterpiece.

Apologies in advance to the good people of West Virginia (both of you) for anything offensive I may have said that didn't get edited out.

Wow, who cancelled that you had to settle for Matt? I’ll listen anyways.

My apologies to Rob and the rest of the community, it was me who cancelled late minute. I officially got to announce my new job yesterday (two weeks notice in) and took my smoking hot wife to a fancy dinner at Chilis so I was unable to make the podcast. Maybe in the future. I'm in real high demand right now. ROFL.

Wow, who cancelled that you had to settle for Matt? I’ll listen anyways. He doesn't have a good agent, so we get him at a very fair price. In all seriousness, it's fun to have someone else on the podcast who was actually there besides Mark and I. We might see more of this dynamic Statler and Waldorf team up in the future!

Another great episode! I always love the SR reviews as it brings back a bunch of names that I remember, some gimmicky matches that people used to put out, and how the rankings were crazy back in the day.
I'm still waiting for one that I was in as I remember that I used to be quite active back then with sending Mark several letters a week... although, I have to admit that I never had a character get male reassignment then reverse the operation...that was crazy! But...honestly that was the fun of the early years...
I had Sweet Thing have twins and supposedly one was Vanity's and the other was Star Warrior's (they were feeding at the time)... blow off match was the two in an Ultimate Cage War with Vanity pulling off the win for custody... Guile was later uncovered to be the antagonist and forging medical documents. Both Vanity and Warrior sought revenge for being played...so, it was these two against Guile and Bounty Hunter.
Then a swerve with Warrior going bad and teaming with Hunter to form The Terminators... oh those were the days.

I feel partly responsible for Adam Blast making it into the rankings that month. I was one of those championship happy kids and Adam Blast held my third tier "Mid Galactic" title (like Mid Atlantic, get it? Yeah, we were kids). That Killer Queen story I remember like I read it yesterday. Some things you just don't easily forget.
