How many people think that "Butch" will just be a bodyguard/manager for the team of Sheamus & Ridge Holland?
How many people think that before the year is over, WWE will wish Pete Dunne the best in his future endeavors?
I hope I'm wrong on both counts because I'm a big fan of the "Bruiserweight", but history tells me I may be right.

Boogs is no gimmick…
I’m really enjoying most stuff in WWE but not obviously not this. I don’t like Sheamus dressing in old timers clothes. Not a fan of Ridge Holland or his look. Now Pete Dunne has a Bushwacker name and looks like a paper delivery boy from the 20’s. Weird stuff for sure.

I was not happy. In literally 2 seconds of calling him Butch the main roster crapped all over him. Pete Dunne should not be the muscle for Sheamus and Ridge Holland, he needs to be the finger snapping, butt kicking, second longest reigning UK Champion Bruiserweight. The Butch gimmick is the stupidest thing ever.

Pete Dunne has been updated to Butch on Cagematch. Poor kid had to sell “Butch” as a loose cannon brawler and ends up looking like the safest worker of the three. Hopefully he doesn’t get heat by association for the injury or the fan reaction to the bizarro creative.

How does a company so obsessed with branding constantly come up with these generic one-word ring names? "Otis"? "Butch"? Throw that into Google and you're going to get a whole lot of other stuff before you ever get to a WWE wrestler, I'm sure (and in Butch's case when you *do* get to guys who wrestled for WWE you're going to get the other one).
Even "Bruiserweight Butch" (or Butch the Bruiserweight) would be an improvement.
