I grew up a block away from Ilio DiPaolo's restaurant and was always excited to hear stories from him anytime I'd go there. Boogie Woogie Man Jimmy Valiant was my first favorite wrestler when I started watching with my grandfather. Once wrestlings popularity got big in the mid-80s my favorites were JYD, Santana, Steamboat (unfortunately we don't have any of them) and the Road Warriors.
