I’m sure I missed this but when using the vintage charts if you have someone with a deathjump on level 3 offense what do you do when you roll It? I was debating between rolling again and substituting an out of the ring roll.
Thanks I’m advance.

I use the regular Deathjump chart as normal. Since the Vintage guys don't have deathjumps or ch G/H, only more modern guys are going to be jumping off the top. I'm okay with that, and it provides for a nice contrast and prevents matches from getting too samey.
Just rolling again would give a big advantage to guys with deathjumps, since they can now hit a finisher on 1 roll out of 5 (or 2 rolls out of 5) instead of 1/6.

rerolls are powerful. I agree just roll deathjump. That's why the vintage guys still have ratings for it.

Right, unless you have specific rules in place there's no assuming the modern guys wouldn't use the top rope just because the pre-TV era guys would not.

I might be off base on this, but would it not be possible that deathjump in this case could be just from the 2nd rope as opposed to the top rope as normally thought of. That would seem more realistic for guys of that era.
