I mean not well known names for the younger Fans. If im right,Dan Spivey was a a Guy to vote for to get a Card in Prime? So he could be a hot pick for this Set. He also only has a B&W Card so far. He also is winning an award this year, same with Rotunda. Hence why if we are getting six new names in the set (thought) Saito and Spivey seem like good bets as the color revision names.

So Not Mike's eras break down like this... White Meat Babyface Tag Team partner: late '84 to early '87. Varsity Club: '88-'89, '99-'00, 00-03 (All Japan) Boat Captain: '90 Wallstreet:'90- April '91, Sept '95 - Dec '96 IRS: April '91 - July '95 nWo: Dec '96 - Mid '97 nWo Japan: Mid '97 - 99
The Wallstreet/IRS personas, which I personally view as two halves of the same whole, was his longest run. The U.S. Express white meat tag guy a distant second. Not counting the All Japan run where he teamed with Williams on and off for a couple of years (which most people have no idea happened), Varsity Club was a pretty short lived character. Personally, I'd be fine with a version of him in shirt and tie, reflecting his longest running persona, but I think either the U.S. Express version or the Varsity Club versions are more likely, given the more grounded nature of the TTHoF sets.

I mean we'll get both versions eventually. His style as a heel was basically the same regardless of the persona.

Even better if we get Tom Zenk and they get a switch mechanic despite the entire similarity in looks in having dark hair.

My preference is NWA TV champ Mike Rotunda. Varsity Club. If they stat him as WWF tag champ is Windham getting a new card with weaker stats? I'd say no. Down the road if we have to have both versions put the U.S. Express in Prime.

He was basically a singles guy until his WWF run with Windham who'd only team up with guys like Windham, etc in Floriday/Mid Atlantic occassionally to fight a couple of bag guys (like Lawler/Dundee in Memphis). It wasnt until they went to the WWF they became official an official tag team

I guess for some people, his WWF tag teams are pretty much how they know Mike Rotunda, so while I think most people want a Varsity Club version, it wouldn't be too crazy to stat him as either IRS or as part of the US Express.
Count me in the "I'd prefer his Varsity Club version" group.

I think Chad and Co. would view that as sacreligious lol

Yeah, I don't think IRS fits this set, and I honestly don't think they'd do an IRS version...I was just pointing out that while those may not be what most of the vocal people on the boards want, they're probably his most known stuff overall so it wouldn't be that crazy to release those versions.
