I am currently on Spring Break so I think I am going to see this movie today.

I have heard Morbius is bad and I saw it only got something like 16% on Rotten Tomatoes. But I still want to see it. I went to the movies today mostly because I wanted to check out the Maya theaters in North Las Vegas which I have not been to yet and by some accounts are supposedly the nicest theaters in the Las Vegas area. I thought the Maya theaters today were nice but I also think there are better theaters in Las Vegas such as the ones in Palace Station and the Eclipse Theaters. But I ended up not seeing Morbius today as the showtimes were actually different than I thought so instead I saw Ambulance which I thought was a great fast-paced heist and chase movie with some good suspense, great acting performances by Jake Gyllenhaal and Eiza Gonzalez, and an awesome setting in Los Angeles which made sense with all its freeways for the chase scenes. I give Ambulance a B. As for Morbius, I am sure I will see it at some point, but perhaps not until it goes to streaming or Red Box. If so, I think this will be the first superhero movie I do not see in the theater since the New Mutants. |

Since I did not have to work today (it is an Election Day in Nevada and they are using the schools as polling places,) I rented Morbius from Red Box. It was not good, especially for a Marvel movie, but still definitely better than some recent movies such as Firestarter.

Since I did not have to work today (it is an Election Day in Nevada and they are using the schools as polling places,) I rented Morbius from Red Box. It was not good, especially for a Marvel movie, but still definitely better than some recent movies such as Firestarter. C- It's a Sony release, not MCU, even though he's a marvel character - like Venom. Hence, why BAD. All 3 Spider-Man movies were from the MCU in association with Sony, the legalities are mystifying... |
