ROFL I guess sometimes I should listen to the full episode before I comment. I am not a ketchup fan (if I use it it HAS TO BE HEINZ). I usually use sweet baby Ray's spicy sauce on stuff. Burger and hot dog has to be mustard. Garbage plate I usually decline ketchup.
Any I guess I'm taking this in another tangent ... garbage plates are awesome and are french fries, mac salad, burger or dog with meat sauce, hot sauce, onions and ketchup. I see a lot of people doing other things just do the original.
I wonder if Tim got the trash can cup at the red wings game. My wife loves those, it's a garbage plate in a cup.

I stand by my statement on the use of ketchup on breakfast potatoes...that is foul and ranks up there with a festering blister  Anyway, thanks for the insight on the stating of Masked Superstar and the ninth Legends expansion set. I can only imagine what Tim sounds like doing karaoke...maybe like an off key cat being skinned? A monkey getting a proctology exam via broom stick? I kid...I kid...glad you had fun Tim and look forward to hearing your golden pipes in Chicago.  |

To be clear, when I first started eating garbage plates at Nick Tahou's, these were the options. You could do red hots, white hots or hamburgers. Then either beans or mac salad. Then home fries or French fries. I was a red hots, beans and home fries guy. I like ketchup, but ketchup on a garbage plate is heresy. Onions, spicy meat sauce, mustard - done. And I did not get the trash can, but did have a red hot plate at opening day (Red Wings lost to Buffalo 6-4). I got there early enough to get a Red Wings trapper hat and the signature magnetic schedule (have 20-25 of them on my fridge from over the years). I do need to get the garbage can though - how great of a souvenir is that?! |

I think my wife goes for the food and not the game lol. She disappears for an inning and comes back with all sorts of stuff.
