Get upset by Massacre over Lord Nexus. Still think it will come down the SW and Thantos.

Card 000.6 Deimos Intergalactic ArenaThird Round (seed # in parenthesis)Thantos (1) made Massacre tap out- The Aethran, like others before him, had a hard time dealing with the Gamemaster high powered offense and especially his finisher. Only a few minutes in the match, Thantos locked in the MASTERLOCK, and Massacre tried to hold on but eventually submitted. (1/2*)Star Warrior (2) defeated Massif (5)- The two friends shook hands prior to the start of the bout and kept the contest clean. Star Warrior would use his quickness to keep Massif reeling and used karate chops to whittle down the giant. After a running elbow that put the big man down, Star Warrior executed a Running Star Blast to cover Massif for the count. (*) Angelina Dubrini, GWF’s star correspondent, stood in the interview area as Ghengis Khan strolled in. The Mongolian looked a little upset, looked at Ms. Dubrini, and scoffed in disgust. He looked at the camera and spouted that his group battles the Titans tonight. The Society of Death member left the area and Angelina let out a sigh of relief.
She waited a moment and informed everyone that the next two broadcasts will feature the first two rounds of the Galaxian Tag Team Championship Tournament. The finals of both the tag tournament and the match between Star Warrior and Thantos to determine the first ever Galaxian Champion will be featured on the first ever Pay-Per-View, ORIGINS. The Society of Death (Krakan the Invincible, Ghengis Khan, and Mutant) downed The Flying Titans (Lord Nexus, Pit Viper, and Pulsar) in a Trios Match.- Both teams made several tags at crucial moments and the match pace was fantastic with neither side letting the other team gain an advantage. The end came after Krakan was able to put away Pit Viper with consecutive FALLING FACE SLAMS! Lord Nexus and Pulsar attempted to break up the pin attempt but was stopped in their tracks by Krakan’s goons. (**)

Card 000.7 Deimos Intergalactic ArenaThe arena erupted in the sound of fireworks and rassling fans started to chat “G...W…F” repeatedly. There was an electricity in the air as the federation gets closer to crowning the first ever champions in both the singles and tag divisions. Galaxian Tag Team Championship Tournament First Round (seed # in parenthesis) Federation Defense Fighters (Massif/ Commander Sam) (4) won against Cosmic Punks (Killer Queen/ Vanity) (5)- The opening round of the tournament was a surprisingly good contest! Commander Sam used his finisher of SAM’S ATOMIC DROP twice on Killer Queen but couldn’t keep the Evil One’s shoulders down. A few minutes later, Massif tagged into the match and tossed his opponent out of the squared circle onto the concrete floor. Killer Queen tried to crawl back into the ring before the ten count was given by the referee. The referee awarded the match to the Federation Defense Fighters by the result of a count-out. (1/2*) Henchmen (Comrade Terror/ Executioner) (3) pummeled Flying Titans (Pit Viper/ Pulsar) (6)- The duo of Executioner and Comrade Terror used their power to their advantage and tossed the Titans around like ragdolls! After an atomic knee drop, the Cygnusian covered Pit Viper for the three count. (1/2*)
Greek Gods (Actagon/ Proteus)(2) easily put away Society of Death (Ghengis Khan/ Mutant)(7)
- The Greeks had no problem defeating their opponents and had Khan on the ropes early. However, the Mongol was able to tag out to Mutant, but it was to no avail. After an OVERHEAD TOSS and GRECIAN SLEEPER GRIP combo, the Greek’s hands were raised in triumph. (1/2*) Gladiators of Aethra (Brute/ Massacre) (1) duked Spacecroppers (Renegade/ Beast Rider) (8)
- The momentum of this match swung back and forth several times and it looked like either team could win. Although, the Aethrans would gain the upper hand and Massacre would level Beast Rider with a MASSACRE SLAM for the duke. (*3/4)

Card 000.8 Deimos Intergalactic Arena
Galaxian Tag Team Championship Tournament Second Round (seed # in parenthesis)Henchmen (Comrade Terror/ Executioner) (3) beat up the Greek Gods (Actagon/ Proteus) (2)- The Henchmen slapped around the Greeks without even breaking a sweat! After Comrade Terror used ATOMIC WARHEAD, he tagged out to Executioner and the Henchmen member used HEADSMAN GUILLOTINE on Proteus to advance to the next round. (* 3/4) Gladiators of Aethra (Brute/ Massacre) (1) easily put away Federation Defense Fighters (Commander Sam/Massif) (4)
- Without a doubt, the Aethrans rolled through the second round after separating Commander Sam from his tag partner. After Brute blasted the war hero with the DECAPITATOR, the referee slapped the canvas three times and warded the bout to the Gladiators of Aethra. (1/2*) Red Talon debut was victorious against Death Knight- The newcomer controlled the Evil One member handedly and put his opponent away with a Beak Butt in less than the three-minute mark. (DUD) Invincible Krakan whipped Pulsar- The Titan ran around the inside of the ring using hit and run tactics trying to use his agility to his advantage. Unfortunately for him, Krakan would catch up to him, used a reverse piledriver, and ended the bout with a FALLING FACE SLAM. (DUD)

Big upset Henchmen beating the Greek Gods! I wonder if they can pull a duce and beat the Gladiators too? It's down to Star Warrior and Thantos... do big surprise there.

ORIGINS Card 001 Deimos Intergalactic ArenaCosmic Punks (Killer Queen/ Vanity) won against Spacecroppers (Renegade/ Beast Rider)- This match came to be as Vanity told the universe (during an interview segment with HeadBashers Incorporated) that his team would easily beat the duo of Beast Rider and Renegade. Beast Rider took offense to that remark and challenged the flamboyant adversary for this Pay Per View. Ironically, the Cosmic Punks held their own and would garner the victory after Vanity used THE PULVERIZER on Beast Rider. (3/4*)
Duke of Destruction outlasted Omega- The Duke withstood three COSMIC WAR DANCES to employ his own finisher of GRIP OF DOOM to have successful debut. (**) Galaxian Tag Team Championship Tournament Final :Gladiators of Aethra (1) bruised The Henchmen’s (3) ego after becoming first ever Galaxian Tag Team Champions- A one-sided affair! The Aethrans blasted the Henchmen and took turns applying the DECAPITATOR until Executioner could not take any more punishment. Massacre covered the limp body of the Earthling and the referee slapped the canvas three times. (**) Galaxian Championship Tournament Final:Thantos (1) made Star Warrior (2) submit to become the first ever Galaxian Champion.- This match was easily the best match in the short history of the GWF and was the most evenly contested as well. Both participants had near pinfalls on several occasions and no quarter was given. At the twenty-minute mark, Thantos showed why he was seeded first in the tournament and locked on the MASTERLOCK to end the bout. (***) As Thantos held the Galaxian Championship in the air in triumph, confetti fell from the ceiling and covered the arena floor as the broadcast went off the air.

I don't think The Henchmen got the proper respect as a team. In my reboot I had the same teams in my final just a different result.
Congratulations to Thantos and the Gladiators for showing why they are the top seeds.

So what you got next?

A little crazy that Wolf got his ticket punched by Executioner... But, hopefully that will add some spice to what has historically been a pretty uneven rivalry... The Gladiators are great inaugural tag champs... And very cool that Thantos and Star Warrior delivered a competitive match for the Galaxian Championship tournament final... I've never really been much of a mark for either of them, but you have to respect their ability to come through in the clutch.
Excellent way to kick off some reimagined GWF goodness, my friend... Nice work!
