Enjoy the draft to those who watch. I might keep tabs but it really gets lost on me as I dont know who anyone is as I dont follow college football at all. The real offseason highlight for me is coming up on May 12th. The NFL Schedule release! Not sure if you heard but they are doing it Filsinger Games style this year. That is when the full schedule comes out but there are a few teasers earlier in May. I know one day will be the game in Germany and another day will be the multiple games on Christmas Day. I did hear that. I like that plan. A few teasers before the big drop.

FG leading the show once again.
Interesting, I've heard a lot of scuttle about Jacksonville going for a tackle because they need to protect Lawrence, but it occurred to me that the best quarterbacks never seem to have the best linemen (and vice versa). It's also super expensive once Lawrence (assuming he works out) gets his new deal because you'd be investing about 1/2 or more of your cap on three players. So they score 40 points a game, with the minimum defense they're probably paying, they'll probably be giving up 50.
Well, just hours to go now, let's see where things go.

Jax locked up their LT Cam Robinson to a new 3 year deal a few days ago. They’re all set there.
With that said, it’s the Jags, so anything is possible.

My Raiders do not have a pick until the 3rd round but some of their best recent draft picks (Maxx Crosby, Hunter Renfrow, etc) have been mid-round picks. My Seahawks (other than QB and I do not think they can get good value at #9 for QB this year) need the most help at OT and CB so hopefully someone among Evan Neal, Ikem Ekwonu, Charles Cross, Ahmad 'Sauce' Gardner, or Derek Stingley Jr. are still on the board at #9. For the Seahawks, in addition to OT and CB, the defensive line is also a key area that needs improvement. if the top 3 OTs and the top 2 CBs (I would gladly take any of those 5 players) are all gone by #9, I would like to see the Seahawks draft Jermaine Johnson II. I can't wait until this afternoon to find out who will be the newest Seahawk (hopefully they don't trade down again.)

Steelers could add a tackle in the first 2 rounds then on the 3rd or 4th get a future starting Qb.

If they think there is an All Pro LT there they might still draft one. I doubt it due to being the 1st pick and no LT really stands out. But last year the Lions had their LT of the future and still drafted one.

Most of the off season a lot of the mock drafts I saw mentioned the Lions taking a QB with their #32 pick to get that 5th year option. I have said that is only important if you know the QB is worth picking up the 5th year. As we see today with the Giants and Dainel Jones, sometimes they are not.

Just an hour till the Jags are officially on the clock. Time to put beer and chips out for Madden so he delivers my Draft Day wish list.
