Ravens take Kyle Hamilton. He is the guy I thought the Lions traded up to get.

I am just glad they did not go QB. Goff is better than some give him credit for. He deserves a year in our system with a healthy offense around him to show what he can do. It’s a huge show of support for Goff. More I absorb it the more I love it. We suck. We need to make bold moves like this. If he becomes our Jamar Chase it’s a monster trade. |

As I have said for a while, I am not 100% in on Goff but he is not some Mitch Trubinsky. There is a reason he was picked #1 over all. He may have not lived up to the hype but he is still very good. The Lions game against Arizona showed that. If the Lions keep the O-line healthy and the weapons around Goff he will have a really good year, maybe even great. |

They said 100,000 fans at the draft. I think about 20,000 of them are people that could not get in to see Carrot Top. LOL! Why anyone (nevermind 20,000 of them) would want to see Carrot Top is beyond me, haha!  Todd C WTIC |

Todd C WTIC Years ago I actually used to see Carrot Top all the time at the Golds Gym I went to on Flamingo before moving to the Green Valley area of Las Vegas for awhile. He seemed cool in person, but I have just never really been a fan of his work. |

That right there. When I was in my early 20's some of his stuff was good. I am a silly, goofy person myself, so I got a kick out of his stuff. But have not seen his work in decades.

I'd go see Steven Wright or Lewis Black! They're always funny! Saw Steven Wright up here around the year 2000 in Northampton MA at the Calvin Theater, hilarious! Back on topic though with the draft: I am SO disappointed in the Chargers taking an offensive linemen, especially since they have no 2nd round choice. Well, expect the same "Air Coryell" offense AND defense this year then. Oh well.    Todd C WTIC |

Yea going D might have been better but can't get to mad at trying to protect the franchise QB. The Chargers might be able to improve their D a bit after post draft cuts.
