Direction of my Classic Era fed

I was going to just post this in my Classic Era thread but I could not find how to post add a poll there. I am having trouble deciding which way I want to go as I move forward with this fed. I started with intention of keeping as close to cannon as is possible for me. So far, so good. But recently I looked at the Early Classic sets and realized I can get PDFs of them for a reasonable price. I want to get them but deciding if I should meld them into my Classic Era fed even though those guys were either out of GWF by 2087 or I have updated cards from the starter set for them. I do not want to reset and go back further in time to run things with them so I have three options as I see it. So, I am leaving the decision up to those who sit in the virtual seats and follow my Classic Era fed.



1) Continue on the path I am going. Keeping with the cards in the sets as they were released and keep close to cannon.


2) Bring in some of the guys from the Early Classic sets and weave them into the current roster. Odds are, it will only be 6-12 months of game time then I would faze them out for the most part.


3) Multiverse this biatch. In this idea I split my fed into TWO threads. The one I am doing now would continue as it, staying close to cannon. Then I would start a second thread with same history as the current one but going forward somethings would be different including the appearance of some of the talent from the Early Classic feds. While I like that idea. I also know it means more work. I am willing to do it if that is what people want to see.



So, there it is. Now, it is up to you fine folks. If you follow my Classic Era thread, please vote. The future of the GFW stars is up to you.

I had brought in the EC guys (the Official Classis Sets, I mean) a little at a time as I played. Blacklash & Bullwhip were in my fed around 2090 I think. Wolf '86 was in as Wolf's son LoneWulf. Morpheus was Morpheus' son as well. This way, I could use the sets I bought instead of just letting them sit in storage.

And, as you could have guessed, I had Big Superstar in my fed with homemade Razor & Diesel cards.

So do whatever you feel is best for your fed, and most importantly -- HAVE FUN!!

Good stuff. Yea, I have always lived by that last sentence. I play for me. I post incase others might enjoy it and/or find some inspiration. It is just I cannot decide which way to go this time. I am pretty much evenly split on how to go. Thus, I decided to let the reader decide. So far thought, they seem almost as split as I am

I've been having the most fun ever with the game with the Early Classics era. Now, I started playing this era in 2004 and am still stuck in 2079 18 years later (kids will do that to you, LOL). But it's been fantastic. I vote for option 1 so you get to experience those characters.

Couple days left and it looks like it we will be seeing the arrival of Early Classic guys in my fed. I ordered the sets yesterday. Printed up cards and booklets today. Going to be doing some fun reading over next couple days to fine tune how I want to bring them in. Excited for their arrival and the reading. The booklets bring me back to MY early days when I first ordered the original set and slowly picked up the expansion sets.
