I don't know anything specific about this book but I've heard a lot of books are having production and distribution issues. This seems to be an Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and other online retailer issue. If one was willing to pay absurd shipping fees from ECW Publishing, they had plenty of copies. It was more that the retailers didn't buy enough copies and then it was a shipping issue from ECW Publishing. Which makes sense. It's hard to ship a.) from Canada, and b.) large numbers. I think it's crazy that Amazon didn't see how many they needed that they sold out. Poor planning. They sold out twice in pre-order. People who are just now getting their books are those who were in the first batch of sell outs. People who will be waiting until late May or June are part of the 2nd batch of sell outs. How that happens in beyond me.

They definitely were not sold out when I ordered or when others did. They just didn't have the books on hand which is nuts.

Yeah, same. I grabbed mine I think around Thanksgiving.
I don't know how they managed to not order enough books, twice...

I read a review copy a few months ago and thought it was a great book. It sure got sad at the end, though, when the territory died.

It was an interesting territory but Sheik's booking practices did catch up to him in the end.

*laughs* So we learned. Though probably even worse was that people knew the main event would likely be five minutes or less and Sheik would either win with a foreign object or be disqualified. Also for a wealthy man, he wasn't overly generous in payments.

My expected shipping date is now listed as May 24. Bumped up a week.

Neither was Jerry Jarrett by most accounts, and people still seem to love them some Memphis...not sure you can hold what seems to be an extremely common trait amongst promoters against him. Haha.
