I have a ticket to Money in the Bank in Las Vegas so I am glad WWE switched the day of the PPV here from July 3rd to July 2nd so I can also go to this PWG show that weekend!

Konosuke Takeshita vs PWG World Champion Daniel Garcia
Aussie Open vs PWG World Tag Team Champions Kings of the Black Throne (Malakai Black & Brody King)
"Speedball" Mike Bailey vs Buddy Matthews

I am home now from going to PWG today.
I slept a little on the way there and a little on the way back as I was out late last night at Money in the Bank and I woke up today at 5:30 (almost 22 hours ago.)
After arriving in downtown Los Angeles, I went to the Shake Shack a couple of blocks away with my friend instead of eating at the bar next to the Globe Theater and that turned out to be a good idea because, not only is the food better at Shake Shack, after eating and then walking over to the venue we found out the bar is no longer there. There are some other bars both just 3 minutes walking distance away and next time, since I almost always get to the venue hours early, I will probably go to one of those but for today I just hung out outside and talked to some friends until it was time for doors while my friend went to work for PWG.
There was another event (not wrestling, something else) at the Globe Theater after PWG tonight but that led to PWG opening doors and starting earlier than usual on a Sunday and helped ensure the show ended earlier than normal as everything had to be cleared out for the next show. Also, after the show, more of the Globe Theater staff helped us stack the chairs than usual so that got done at a much faster rate and we were on the road home by 8:45 (if it was not for a major traffic accident causing delays I would have gotten home much sooner) instead of the usual 10:30-11:00 departure time which was nice since it is a long ride home back to Las Vegas.
Results from tonight:
Shane Haste defeated Titus Alexander. Alexander, a replacement for Aramis, looked good in making his PWG debut. Alexander, who I got to meet at the Full Tilt shows in Las Vegas during Double or Nothing weekend, has wrestled alot of Defy shows and is starting to make a name for himself elsewhere. If you don't already know who Titus Alexander is now, you will soon if you watch Indy wrestling.
Yuka Sakazaki defeated Masha Slamovich. This was actually the first womens match at PWG in a little over 11 years since Candice LeRae defeated Portia Perez back in April 2011.
Davey Richards defeated JONAH and Kevin Blackwood. This matchup was originally Jonah vs Kevin Blackwood with Davey Richards instead wrestling Jonathan Gresham. Gresham however could not make it due to travel issues so Richards was instead added to this match to make it a triple threat.
Mike Bailey defeats Buddy Matthews Matthews during this match was using things such as paper to give Bailey paper cuts on his hands and bare feet and even took out some pliers before Mike Knox took those away.
PWG World Tag Team Champions The Kings Of The Black Throne (Brody King & Malakai Black) defeated Aussie Open. A very good tag match, I thought Aussie Open would win the PWG World Tag Team Championship tonight but Brody King and Malakai Black retained. Malakai Black's wife Zelina Vega was at PWG tonight.
PWG World Champion Daniel Garcia defeated Konosuke Takeshita. All the matches were good but this was definitely the match of the night. Konosuke Takeshita is so damn good.
At the brief Intermission, I got to give Kevin Blackwood copies of his card and I got my copy of his card autographed. After the show, after I finished helping with the chairs, I briefly said goodbye to Davey Richards and goodbye to Excalibur and then I left with my friends to ride back to Las Vegas.
This was Show #37 for me in 2022. Show #38 will be next Saturday when I attend UWW at the Sahara.
