A great episode to listen to why I am working on some power servers here in Helena, MT...I am so glad today isn't day here as I am burned out! To answer your question Corey... yes, I did get a few penpals! Although, if I remember correctly Chad and yourself hardly ever wrote back.  I corresponded to Mark,Matt, and Tim as well...not sure about Stu however. I remember when 2090 came out and I was unimpressed and thought it was the worst set ever...although I liked most of the characters especially Cosmic Forces, Doomsayer, and Iron Mane. I know recant my thoughts on the set and find that it is probably one of the most influential sets in the early years as many things were foreshadowed in this set! Plus, major players like Krakan, Doomsayer, and the evolution of Pulsar Prime. FYI Galactic Rebels were Doomsayer, Cosmic Forces, and Alien Corps... one of the best groups ever in my opinion! I still have the belts that were given out somewhere and had the calender but my parents threw it away when I moved out (or sold in garage sale...although I don't know why anyone would buy a used calender  ). Great to look back at a simpler time again and I miss those days sometimes but I have rebooted and booking tge GWF more realistic then some of the stuff we all did back then. Unfortunately, don't have as much time as I had back in those days.  |

Shame! Adding to my post about the show, Spike/Thantos was the exact opposite of the newsletter with Spike having a stranglehold on the Galaxian and Thantos owning thr IP title...before my reboot, the Gamemaster never held the big belt in my fed (and in my reboot, he held for 5 cards before being best by Star Warrior)... I return you to your regular scheduled board discussion. |

I love these trips down memory lane, much simpler times.
I should be joining CLUB GALACTICA soon. I was quick to buy the game in 1986, but wasn't so quick in joining the club fun.
Syracuse... I guess when Tim dropped that word so many months ago it was a teaser and not just a "word" after all. 😉
