What a historical night for Liv Morgan!

Home now (actually been home for 45 minutes but I ran across the street to eat at Taco Bell as the food options at the MGM Grand Garden were not great tonight as some vendors there ran out of food before the show even started.)
I thought tonight's show was better than I expected it be on paper- both Money in the Bank ladder matches were very good- but still not better than Money in the Bank 2016 which I also attended here in Las Vegas.
As I mentioned here earlier, Liv Morgan tonight had the best night of her career and I was also really glad to see Theory win the briefcase tonight.
This was Show #36 for me in 2022. Show #37 will be tomorrow in Los Angeles when I attend PWG.

Why did the give Roman both belts if he isn't going to defend them on each premium live event.

What a show. That crowd was hot! I enjoyed it top to bottom. The WWE Womens division has improved greatly this year.

Why did the give Roman both belts if he isn't going to defend them on each premium live event. Roman Reigns signed a new deal that apparently includes less dates and it seems like Roman Reigns is thus only being used on stadium premium events as non-stadium premium events will likely sell out anyway or come close to selling out anyway so it makes more financial sense to use those dates for TV ratings and for stadium premium events where they need to sell more tickets. This quote by Meltzer I think explains it: "The bigger issue is they want to make money and they’ve already made their money off Peacock. So, putting Roman Reigns on Money in the Bank means absolutely zero to WWE. They don’t make one dime if more people watch it because Roman Reigns is on there. But, if they do big SmackDown ratings as a result of Roman Reigns defending the title on the show, well, then it comes time to renew your television deal and you make even more money," said Dave Meltzer.

Nick Khan really has been an incredible asset for WWE. He’s really changed the way the game is being played. Loving these Saturday super cards.

He is from Las Vegas and he is a big reason Las Vegas got both Summerslam last year and Money in the Bank this year. I am hoping we get Wrestlemania in 2024.

With that new in door football stadium there aren’t too many better spots to hold it!

Yeah, I agree. I got the first two matches wrong in my predictions last night. But while I was not surprised to see Liv Morgan win (Morgan and Raquel Gonzalez were two names I were thinking about before going with Becky Lynch,) I was at first like WTF when Lashley went over Theory to win the United States Championship in the 2nd match. But by Theory later getting added to and then winning the mens MITB ladder match, Theory ultimately left with a bigger prize than he had entering the show. I just wish the WWE let Theory talk more as he showed in EVOLVE he is damn good with a microphone.
