Been going through wrestling burnout (the IWC is just too frustrating sometimes), last night I cured it with some ROH throwbacks and a few Filsinger Games matches but had completely forgot about FD.

For how absolutely cursed this event was, Cagematch and the less cynical part of the Twitterverse seem pretty happy with it.

Usual gripes from the peanut gallery: not knowing enough about Japanese or Surprise talent, Orange Cassidy existing, Claudio as just another ex-WWE employee, Adam Cole’s physique (hopefully he can rectify while getting healthy on the injured list) and match pacing/time. Honestly reading through the usual civilian opinions brought my wrestling agita back haha

Seems the main complaint hasn't changed...booking mostly. I get that. The matches though seemed quite good for the most part.

I didnt watch the PPV, but followed along on Facebook for up to the minute updates.

So booking was the complaint I mostly heard as well. But in defense of that, I hear there were some debates? for lack of better words, about who should win, how the matches should go, etc. etc. It's a big deal for both sides, so I get the competitiveness to get the best story for their talents. Overall though, I think the show went over well.

Wasn't too surprised to see Claudio, some guessed him as a front runner! So a little underwhelmed by that "mystery man"!? 😕 But interested to see how he's used going forward!

Have not been watching any new wrestling lately. But seeing the headline of this thread an idea popped into my head. They should have a wrestler show up from another company and claim he was not concerned with the Forbidden Door as he found an open window to enter by.
