GWF Files

I’d like to see one that is strictly GWF. Something new buyers could jump into and not be overwhelmed with.

It seems another GWF Files is unlikely. Look how long it took to do a ringside companion. An updated book for the GWF would be very cool though.

I would say that a GWF Files 3.0 would be cool to have, but the focus should be the GWF...which many might not agree with, BUT I also think that a Filsinger Games Pro Wrestling Files 1.0 would be cool too as a stand-alone product.

DK II, but aren't there some important names that have come up in the CPC/P.O.W. era, and in a.C.e. I mean really is it that much to add - we are talking like an additional, what at most 15 editions. Drop in the bucket if we are including Early Classics, Classics 2074, 2079, 2084, 2086 and everything up to the most recent release. But I hear you, I think it could potentially get too large to edit and write. So maybe just CPC/P.O.W.?

I guess when I when I say "GWF" I mean the "Champions of the Galaxy" line, which would include CPC/P.O.W. era, a.C.e., Kronos, Future Shock, and FTR.

BUT, what I would recommend rather than the "List of Characters" chapters as they are now, I believe that dedicating a Chapter to each of those Feds would be a better way to go...

My biggest thing with this game is the learning curve. It isn’t the game it is how to get info needed for the game. I was talking to a new player on how to register online and he stated, “we don’t play online.” And I tried to explain it isnt about playing online it’s the resources there that people need. If the online wiki was updated that would help immensely. I don’t know what card to look for if I don’t know it was released like gcon releases especially. My two cents

It is a great tool that I use often but as has been mentioned, it has not been updated in years and does not appear it will be.

I know it's been asked before, but i dont know that a conclusion has been reached: what would it take to get the wiki updated?? I'm willing to help with data entry as I'm sure others are.

As to what it would take to get the wiki updated, at this point I think it would take an act of God. I have been trying to get access to it to start updating it for several years, but my request never get further than Todd saying he will pass my request on to Mike. At one point I had started to update the COTG Files entries by first letter, but new stuff is coming out so often that it is hard to keep up. I'll go back and review what I have done and see how much I need to update to get the letter "A" up-to-date, then try to get with Chad to get a PDF available. It will not include GWFZ, and I may have removed any Early Classics references, since I don't know Tom's current thinking on that set. The last I remember him saying was years ago and he then classified it as an "alternate universe" type set, not official GWF history. I have heard Tom hint from time-to-time that he was going to fill in the gaps in the GWF history between 2074 and 2087, but ...
