My son Stryker, who's a U.S. Navy veteran, always told me that MARINE was an acronym that stood for My Ass Rides In Navy Equipment! Sorry Thomas (TK)! Also stands for, Muscles Are Required Intelligence Not Essential!  |

Army boy here. When I was deployed in Afghanistan, we went to the mess hall on the first day and ended up sitting with a couple Air Force guys.
Air Force guy: "So how long are you guys here for?"
Big Bri: "1 year. How about you guys?"
Air Force guy: "6 weeks."
Big Bri (in my head): "Go f*** straight off." LOL.
I enjoyed the inter-branch banter and Pete trying to defend the Air Force, LOL. All in good fun!
I was surprised it didn't come down to Commander Sam vs. Sgt. Slaughter. Would've been interesting to see who would've won that vote since they have so many similarities.
