JUST WRESTLING: GIVES THANKS: Night One November 15th, 2022 BOUND BY TRADITION Tag Team Championship Tournament OPENING ROUND Official Results ROB VAN DAM & SABU defeated DON MURACO & JEFF COBB VICTORY BY: Rolling Thunder by Van Dam on a bloody & battered Don Muraco TIME OF MATCH: 28 Minutes 22 Seconds NOTES: "One hell of a way to kick off the Tournament with possibly another match of the year candidate. If you remember Muraco put Sabu on the shelf with an injury for several months so this grudge match turned violent and bloody quickly. All these men will not be the same after this match as Cobb hit Sabu with his TOUR OF THE ISLANDS Finisher on the hard wooden floor outside of the ring! Speaking of Sabu he and Muraco hit each other over and over and with almost everything that was not nailed down!
RVD looked to knock out some of Jeff Cobb's teeth thanks to a stiff kick to the face, Sabu looked to deliver Air Sabu off the top of a bar to finish off Muraco but instead Cobb smashed him with a beer bottle then tossed him off the bar onto a table BUT when Muraco literally crawled back in the ring Van Dam was waiting with the finish to give the ECW icons the hard-fought victory to advance in the Tournament." THE HEX (Marti Belle & Allysin Kay) defeated WILLIE MACK & RICH SWANN VICTORY BY: Fade to Black FINISHER to Swann TIME OF MATCH: 10 Minutes 37 Seconds NOTES: "Unlike the prior match, both teams showed great respect before and after the match with handshakes. Swann and Marti Belle had some great risk taking one upmanship throughout the match. Willie looked like he might have tweaked his knee during the contest against Kay. Speaking of the Michigan native she would get the victory for her team as Belle took out Willie before he could make the save.
The fans were really behind the Hex as they advance to face a battered and bloody Sabu & Rob Van Dam in the next round of the Tournament." AUSSIE OPEN (Kyle Fletcher & Mark Davis w/ Robbie Eagles in the corner) defeated ROCK & ROLL EXPRESS VICTORY BY: Fidgett Spinner on Robert Gibson TIME OF MATCH: 10 Minutes 16 Seconds NOTES: "A huge pop when the legendary R&R Express was announced as the mystery opponents to Aussie who had smiles on their faces, what a match but you could tell both Ricky & Robert were getting gassed as the match got longer in duration. They had a moment where they hit their DOUBLE DROPKICK Finisher BUT Robbie Eagles put Fletchers foot on the rope's unseen by the official to the disapproval of the crowd. Aussie Open recovered and really took control of the match and proved why they are becoming if not already one of the best tag teams in the world right now. After the match both teams did shake hands, but Morton did have words with Robbie Eagles before heading to the back." H.H.H. (Lance Hoyt & Charlie Haas w/ Barbie Hayden in the corner) defeated TYSON DUX & BRENT BANKS (w/ Nichole Matthews in the corner) VICTORY BY: Lance Hoyt Big Boot to the face of Tyson Dux knocking him out! TIME OF MATCH: 15 Minutes 34 Seconds NOTES: "We started the first round of this Tournament with a grudge match & now we end the opening round with one as these two teams have really developed a distain for one another during the Pick Your Poison Tour and they did not lead up here. The Canadian duo really took down Hoyt early on in the match and really singled him out with some tremendous technical tag team wrestling BUT Lance showed just how good he is by taking it all and delivering as well, Charlie would get Banks in his HAAS OF PAIN Finisher and as Tyson came off the ropes to make the save he got cut off with a straight nasty boot to the face by Hoyt! The official quicky rang the bell to end the match as Tyson hit the mat hard and was out cold."
Medical came down immediately and after several moments with the help of Banks and Matthews were able to help Tyson to the back, we hope to have an update on the condition of Tyson during Night 2 of this event. H.H.H will advance to take on Aussie Open as The Hex will battle SABU & Rob Van Dam with the winners of each match will meet for the Championship! Tune into GIVING THANKS Night Two to witness history. -END (17)

JUST WRESTLING: GIVES THANKS: Night Two November 16th, 2022 BOUND BY TRADITION Tag Team Championship Tournament Official Results THE HEX (Allysin Kay & Marti Belle) defeated ROB VAN DAM & SABU VICTORY BY: Fade to Black FINISHER on SABU TIME OF MATCH: 9 Minutes 14 Seconds NOTES: "The Hex most certainly took advantage of the injuries sustained by their opponents (especially Sabu) coming into this match, which is why a lot of people think that is the reason for their victory BUT boy the executed perfectly. RVD and SABU I am sure wanted to end this match quickly which it ended up being less than a 10-minute match but the other way! Sabu got caught by Belle who delivered her HELL'S BELLS Finisher right into the Finisher of Allysin Kay's who took out Rob Van Dam via her AK-47 to advance to the FINALS of the Tournament to the cheer of the crowd!" AUSSIE OPEN (Mark Davis & Kyle Fletcher w/ Robbie Eagles in the corner) defeated H.H.H (Lance Hoyt & Charlie Haas w/ Barbie Hayden in the corner) VICTORY BY: Grimstone FINISHER by Kyle Fletcher on Lance Hoyt TIME OF MATCH: 17 Minutes 58 Seconds NOTES: "A hell of a hard hitting contest between these two teams, HHH had the early advantage and they had Kyle Fletcher on the ropes thanks to a nasty Haas forearm to the back of his head right into a Texas Thunder Bomb by Hoyt but before the 3 count Mark Davis took out Hoyt with a knee strike and the two would end up brawling outside of the ring! In the ring Haas looked to finish off Fletcher but once again Davis would dive back in the ring and make the save and beginning brawling with Haas! Hoyt again looked to put Fletcher away BUT out of nowhere Kyle delivers a finisher to the unexpecting Hoyt for the 3 count and a trip to the Finals against the Hex!" BOUND BY TRADITION Tag Team Championship Tournament FINALS AUSSIE OPEN (Kyle Fletcher & Mark Davis w/ Robbie Eagles in the corner) defeated THE HEX (Martie Belle & Allysin Kay) VICTORY BY: Fidgett Spinner FINISHER on Allysin Kay TIME OF MATCH: 10 Minutes 32 Seconds NOTES: There was a 10 minute intermission before the final match BUT Aussie Open did not leave the ring at all and waited for the Hex who came out on fire against Davis and Fletcher and nearly had the championships after an ankle lock was applied to Fletcher but Davis picked up Belle and literally threw her into Allysin to break the hold, for his troubles Allysin recovered and connected with her AK-47 while Marti and Fletcher went toe to toe! In the end Davis connected on two consecutive Alpamare Waterslide's on Kay leading to the finish and become champions!
*After the match Socal Val came down to the ring and not only presented the BOUND BY TRADITION Tag Team Championships to Fletcher and Davis but also a banner that read the following: BOUND BY TRADITION Tag Team Champions: Aussie Open, November 16th, 2022. The new champions touched the banner as it was raised to the ceiling signifying that they have indeed made history to end the show* JUST WRESTLING would like to wish everyone a Happy Holiday season and we will see you in January 2023 as we kick off the new year with the SUBMISSION 16 Tournament -END (18)

JUST WRESTLING Presents SUBMISSION 16: NIGHT ONE January 9th, 2023 BLOCK A TIMOTHY THATCHER defeated DAN SEVERN VICTORY BY: Fujiwara Armbar FINISHER TIME OF MATCH: 9 Minutes 1 Second NOTES: "Thatcher survived an early onslaught by the Beast as Severn focused on the left shoulder of his opponent but a missed splash in the corner led right into the finisher and victory for Thatcher" DAVEY BOY SMITH JR. defeated EFFY VICTORY BY: Sharpshooter TIME OF MATCH: 17 Minutes 20 Seconds NOTES: "One hell of a match that went back and forth, unfortunately Effy was never able to apply his sleeper despite having Jr. down several times in the contest. What really won it for Davey was the fact he connected on three consecutive Bulldog Bomb FINISHERS then applied the submission for the victory." KEN SHAMROCK defeated WES BRISCO VICTORY BY: Ankle Lock FINISHER TIME OF MATCH: 17 Minutes 34 Seconds NOTES: "It took Shamrock the third time in the match to apply his finisher to get the victory over Wes not to mention getting over suffering a broken nose and surviving aa jumping flatliner but Brisco could never get to the figure four leglock to attempt a submission from the combat sports legend, but he put up a hell of a fight." GREG VALENTINE defeated ROCKY ROMERO VICTORY BY: Figure Four Leglock FINISHER TIME OF MATCH: 12 Minutes 56 Seconds NOTES: "Some might consider this a little bit of an upset as Valentine gets the victory thanks to his finisher but it is what happened a few minutes before that really turned this match for Romero who missed a knee drop from the top rope and looked as though suffered an injury because of it and Valentine being a veteran took advantage to advance." -END (18) Stay tuned for Night 2 of this event for first round results of Block B coming soon!

JUST WRESTLING Presents SUBMISSION 16: NIGHT TWO January 10th, 2023 BLOCK B MIKE ROTUNDO defeated TYSON DUX VICTORY BY: Guillotine hold TIME OF MATCH: 15 Minutes 45 Seconds NOTES: "Very competitive, technical match with again perhaps an upset to see one of the mainstays of Just Wrestling knocked out in the first round by a wrestling legend, Rotunda earned the match as Dux went toe to toe with him but when Tyson came back in the ring after he got tossed out by his opponent he got caught and Mike smartly pulled him away from the ropes for no escape to advance" JONATHAN GRESHAM defeated BIFF BUSICK VICTORY BY: Octopus Stretch FINISHER TIME OF MATCH: 20 Minutes 59 Seconds NOTES: "This match is what this tournament stands for hard hitting, technical submission style pro wrestling. This was the match of the Tournament so far, and that is saying something, these two broke out of each other's submissions twice before Gresham finall was able to tap the never say die tough as nails Busick in the center of the ring. A standing ovation for both men from the crowd after the match." ROHIT RAJU defeats ANTHONY HENRY VICTORY BY: Crossface TIME OF MATCH: 12 Minutes 27 Seconds NOTES: "A fast paced encounter between two of the most under the radar talents in the industry, the former X-division champion did a masterful job avoiding Henry's sleeper and Henry got caught by the MUMBAI DRIVEBY Finisher which led to the crossface finish of the match, Henry was inches away from a rope break but tapped out!" DOMINIC GARINNI defeated CHARLIE HAAS VICTORY BY: Cross Armbreaker FINISHER TIME OF MATCH: 11 Minutes 1 Second NOTES: "Controversy to end the first round of the Tournament, earlier in the match Haas had his finisher applied to Dominic who eventually reached the ropes for the break BUT some say they heard Garinni scream I quit before he grabbed the bottom rope including Charlie's teammates Lance Hoyt and Barbie Hayden who were in the back watching. Haas let go of the hold thinking he won, the match continued, and Dominic ended up getting the victory to some displeasure of the crowd.
Hoyt and Hayden got into the ring to confront the official when Garinni's violence is forever tag team partner Kevin Ku came to the ring with a chair! Security would come down before anything physical would happen between the two factions as cooler heads prevailed to end the show" -END (19) Stay tuned for Night 3 results of Submission 16 coming soon!

JUST WRESTLING Presents SUBMISSION 16: NIGHT THREE January 11th, 2023 BRACKET A
DAVEY BOY SMITH JR. defeated TIMOTHY THATCHER VICTORY BY: Sharpshooter TIME OF MATCH: 18 Minutes 32 Seconds NOTES: "Good old fashioned slobber knocker between two old school type of wrestlers, back and forth these two went with stiff shots against one another and what really turned the tide to Jr was he caught Thatcher flush in the jaw with a right hand that seemed to rock Timothy which led to a dragon screw leg whip into the Sharpshooter for the finish in again a very hard hitting affair." GREG VALENTINE defeated KEN SHAMROCK VICTORY BY: Figure Four Leglock TIME OF MATCH: 8 Minutes 18 Seconds NOTES: "Perhaps the upset of the Tournament so far BUT it was do to Shamrock getting sling shotted into the steel posted that busted him open with a huge gash over his forehead, Valentine quickly took advantage of that got Shamrock into the figure four, the official checked on Shamrock and called for the bell quickly as he was out cold. Doctors and medical staff quickly came to the ring to check on Shamrock after the bell who needed assistance to the back, we hope to get an uppdate on the MMA legends condition soon." BRACKET B
JONATHAN GRESHAM defeated MIKE ROTUNDA VICTORY BY: Figure Four Leglock TIME OF MATCH: 13 Minutes 31 Seconds NOTES: "A technical masterpiece between these going very collegiate style between these two. Rotunda had the early advantage, but Gresham showed his toughness and actually surprised his opponent with the Figure Four to get the victory in the center of the ring to advance." ROHIT RAJU defeated DOMINIC GARINNI VICTORY BY: Crossface TIME OF MATCH: 18 Minutes 16 Seconds NOTES: "A huge distraction by Hoyt.Haas.Hayden during the match standing in the isle way got Dominic off his game and with his Kevin Ku again apprearing this time with a steel chair in hand, chaos erupted! Give credit to Raju with everything going on he kept calm and took advantage of the distracted Garinni, first hitting him Mumbai Drive-By Finisher followed by his crossface submsisson for the victory as officials separated Ku from Hoyt and company to regain control." -------INTERMISSION--------Stay tuned for the semi-finals & Finals of the tournament coming up

JUST WRESTLING Presents SUBMISSION 16: NIGHT THREE January 11th, 2023 BRACKET A FINALS DAVEY BOY SMITH JR. defeated GREG VALENTINE VICTORY BY: Sharpshooter TIME OF MATCH: 10 Minutes 14 Seconds NOTES: "The veteran Valentine talked some trash against his opponent saying he will beat him just like he did against his old man the British Bulldog and the Dynamite Kid all those years ago. Jr. responded with it's going to be WrestleMania 2 all over again for you tonight! The two slugged it out in the center of the ring then Valentine chop blocked the right knee of Davey and went right for the finish, but Smith powered out! After a few moments of back-and-forth action, Smith hit his Bulldog Bomb Finisher to set up for the sharpshooter right in the center of the ring for the eventual tap out and a trip to the FINALS!" BRACKET B FINALS JONATHAN GRESHAM defeated ROHIT RAJU VICTORY BY: Octopus Stretch FINISHER TIME OF MATCH: 11 Minutes 29 Seconds NOTES: "A very even match up between these two, great moments of chain and mat wrestling, Rohit went for his finisher but great instinct by Gresham was able to avoid and take control of the match leading to the submission finish and a trip to the FINALS!" SUBMISSION 16: FINALS DAVEY BOY SMITH JR. defeated JONATHAN GRESHAM VICTORY BY: Sharpshooter TIME OF MATCH: 12 Minutes NOTES: "A tremendous show of respect between the two throughout the match, Gresham did a great job taking down Smith to the mat and using joint manipulation to try and set up his Octopus Stretch but the power advantage of Davey Boy was just to much to overcome as he connected with two Bulldog Bomb finishers to once again set in the Sharpshooter and after a few moments of struggle Jonathan had no choice to tap, giving the Tournament to Davey Boy Smith Jr. *After the match fans filled the ring with streamers, as SoCal Val came to the ring and presented the large trophy to Jr. Davey's sister Georgia Smith & friend Brian Pillman Jr. came into the ring to celebrate with him. Jonathan Gresham and his wife Jordynne Grace shook hands and embraced Davey and his family as they left the ring to end the show!* -END (20)
