Stoked to have you checking in, my friend... Yehi is a really intriguing guy to watch in the ring... And his real-life history with IPW made him someone that I definitely wanted to include... He fared really well in the IPW Unified Heavyweight title tournament until The Big Picture steamrolled over him in the final... Still, I expect Yehi to stick around for quite awhile... Good times!

IMPACT PRO WRESTLING IPW ReBorn #4 Recorded on 2021.May.31 The Vault, Collins, IA Aired on 2021.Jun.01 Impact Pro YouTube Channel
Commentary: David Charini & Zach Takes
SUGE D def. Sparrow (w/ Matty Star) via DQ. *1/2 - Sparrow was disqualified due to outside interference. -- Tokens: n/a - The action moved quick in this relatively brief encounter. Suge rebounded off the ropes and knocked Sparrow senseless with a running knee lift. It looked like a flash finish until Star pulled the referee out of the ring to interrupt his count. - Before leaving the ringside area, Star paused at the commentary table to state that he and his partner were sick of being treated like curtain jerkers. He added that management better find them better placing on the card or there would soon be a noticeable gap in the roster.
AC/DC (Arik Cannon & Darin Corbin) def. Logan Black & Ugly. **1/2 - Cannon pinnned Ugly after an inside out lariat. -- Tokens: Black 7, Ugly 1 - Cutting the ring in half, AC/DC did an exceptional job of isolating Black for a good portion of this contest. Black refused to stay down and eventually managed to tag his partner, but was virtually removed from the equation due to exhaustion. Ugly was visibly frustrated with Black's inability to contribute and caused him to lose his focus at the worst possible time. - Cannon & Corbin cut a promo after the bell. They made no excuses regarding their recent loss while teaming with Matt Cross against the trio of Isaias Velazquez & Five Direction. Knowing that their chance for redemption was coming at MADE OF SCARS, they suggested a Tag Team Anarchy match (a No DQ free-for-all where tags are not required) to make things more interesting. Rob Matter & Stevie Fierce walked out of the backstage area to accept the challenge!
FIVE DIRECTION (Rob Matter & Stevie Fierce) def. Malice & Mike Bailey. squash - Matter pinned Bailey after teaming with Fierce for a BE OUR GUEST. -- Tokens: Bailey 2 - Instead of returning to locker rooms, Ugly stuck around the ringside area after the previous match to taunt Malice. The distraction prevented the IPW Badlands Hardcore Champion from becoming a factor in this brief encounter <which lasted a total of four offensive moves> as Five Direction wiped out Bailey with a slick double team combination. - While Bailey shook off the cobwebs, Malice cut a promo after the bell. He warned Ugly that the doomsday clock was ticking. Glancing at Bailey, he acknowledged his mistake without offering an apology. He vowed that things would be different when they faced Logan Black & Ugly at MADE OF SCARS.
BRIAN PILLMAN JR def Wes Brisco. *1/2 - Pillman pinned Brisco after a Death Valley Driver. -- Tokens: Pillman 1 - Brisco 1 - What began as a highly competitive bout between two close allies gradually turned ugly as both men started to push the envelope. As their tactics became more questionable, Brisco gained the upper hand. He might have beaten Pillman into submission if 1 Called Manders had not arrived, calling him out for his treatment of their mutual friend. Just as Brisco saw reason, Pillman nailed him with a cheap shot to steal a controversial win. Manders watched in disbelief as Pillman snatched up his cane and walked away with a scowl on his face.

Wow, Five Direction gets a big win there. Not what I expected obviously... But, a fun result nonetheless... Sets up an interesting dynamic between Malice and Speedball... And who knows? Maybe we'll get to see Rob & Stevie chase the gold at some point... Truly appreciate the continued interest, my friend... Many thanks!
