Looks like the Playboy might have a title shot approaching... Gotta think The Destroyer is pretty high im the rankings as well... And let's not forget, Adonis is probably expecting a rematch... WOW! Looks like Dutch might have his hands full for the foreseeable future!

PNW Card 13 from Portland Sports Arena, Portland, OR!
Tom Prichard was out to prove a point tonight, putting The Grappler away with an elbow drop in mere seconds. The Destroyer, who accompanied Grappler to the ring, was not happy with this result. SQUASH
The Destroyer used Bombs Away to beat Magnum T.A.. This win would have not been possible if it hadn't been for The Grappler getting involved. ★★
Texas Death Match
Steve Regal pulled off a huge upset making Don Leo Jonathan submit to the FT. LAUDERDALE LEGLOCK! Many fans are saying Regal must have cheated somehow. ★★
Pacific Northwest Heavyweight Championship
Dutch Savage made an incredible statement, absolutely crushing Buddy Rose in seconds. Of note here, Rose came to the ring with Doug Somers. These two are apparently buddies now. SQUASH
After the match, Dutch Savage told Don Coss that what he did tonight will repeat itself night after night for months to come.

PNW Card 14 from Klamath County Event Center, Klamath Falls, OR.
Magnum T.A. picked up a DQ victory against Tom Prichard when the ref caught Prichard with a foreign object. Prichard resorted to underhanded tactics when he couldn’t put Magnum away. ★★
The Grappler (w/ The Destroyer) used a devastating knee lift to knock out Buddy Rose (w/ Doug Somers). This was a wild match with both Somers and The Destroyer getting involved. The four men exchanged heated words after the bell but it didn’t come to blows. ★★
The Destroyer (w/ The Grappler) used a bow and arrow to make Adrian Adonis submit in a very hard hitting match. One would think that this win would put Destroyer into title contention. ★★
Steel Cage Match
Don Leo Jonathan used the MORMON SWING against the side of the cage to absolutely dominate Steve Regal and escape. Regal was seen to by medics after the match but left under his own power. Big victory by Jonathan that delighted the crowd. ★★

The Destroyer has a nice hot streak happening... With what took place on that card, wonder if we might see him and The Grappler in tag team action against Rose & Somers... Sounds like money to me! 🤑

PNW Card 15 from Portland Sports Arena, Portland, OR!
Brickhouse Brown crushed Steve Regal with a FLYING BODY PRESS in short order to the delight of the crowd. SQUASH
Buddy Rose, who was accompanied by Doug Somers, picked up a DQ victory when Don Leo Jonathan slammed Rose on a barrier at ringside. ★★
Adrian Adonis beat The Grappler via DQ when Grappler slammed at Adonis on the announce table at ringside. ★
In a bloody Chain Match, Magnum T.A. beat Tom Prichard by touching all four corners after a Belly To Belly Suplex. ★★★★
After the match, Prichard attacked Magnum as he celebrated and wrapped the chain around his neck and hit him with a neckbreaker. Once security chased Prichard off, Magnum was attended to by medics. Magnum T.A. Will be out for two cards.
Dutch Savage retained the Pacific Northwest Heavyweight Championship with a DQ victory over The Destroyer who was disqualified after The Grappler stormed the ring to prevent a pinfall. ★

PNW Card 16 – Portland Wrestling from the Portland Armory, Portland, OR – Friday, January 11, 1980
Tom Prichard used his ENZUGIRI to put Steve Regal away in a competitive opener. ★★
After the match, Prichard told Don Coss if Magnum T.A. Knew what was good for him, he’d never come back.
Brickhouse Brown used the FLYING BODY PRESS to put away Doug Somers. It was a hard fought victory that saw Brown also fighting off Buddy Rose who was at ringside. ★★
Texas Death Match
2 out of 3 Falls Match
Buddy Rose beat Don Leo Jonathan in two straight falls in an excellent dismantling of the big man. ★★
Order of Falls
1. Buddy Rose used an INSIDE BACKBREAKER into a pin to win the first fall.
2. Buddy Rose rolled through a crossbody block to win the second.
After the match, Jonathan complained that Rose had been pulling his trunks but none of the cameras saw that happening. Buddy Rose told Don Coss, “I am the Giant Killer! Jonathan can Fee-Fi-Fo-Fum his way back to his castle in the sky!”
Grudge Match
The Destroyer and The Grappler pick up a DQ victory over Dutch Savage and Adrian Adonis when Adonis shoved the ref while outside the ring! To the shock of no one, this devolved into a brawl after the bell and all four men brawled to the locker rooms. ★

PNW Card 17 from Portland Armory, Portland, OR. January 25, 1980
Sgt. Slaughter put Kenny Jay away in under a minute with the COBRA CLUTCH in his debut. – SQUASH – An impressive debut here for Slaughter who refuses to talk to Don Coss until Coss can give him 20 push ups!
Buddy Rose beat Don Leo Jonathan with the INSIDE BACKBREAKER (and a little help from Doug Somers) in their Grudge Match. – ★★ – Jonathan is not happy and now has vowed to beat both Rose and Somers!
The Grappler beat Adrian Adonis with a brutal knee lift. – ★★ – As Grappler celebrated his vortory, Adonis attacked him from behind with a chair and then slapped him in GOODNIGHT IRENE. Several officials had to work to get Adonis to release the hold! Grappler was taken from the ring on a stretcher. He will miss th next two cards.
Dutch Savage retained the Pacific Northwest Heavyweight Championship over The Destroyer in dramatic fashion with the RUNNING PILEDRIVER. – ★★★ – The Destroyer gave Savage the fight of his life, but the Champ made a huge comeback to win. After the match it looked like Savage was going to attack Destroyer but he left with the belt.
