I just saw some of these cards for the first time at a local Indie Wrestling show (Glory Pro Wrestling) a guy in front of me in line was getting his cards signed by a couple guys at the merch table. I am a long time board gamer, and was intrigued by it. I read through the rules on the main website, and browsed the available card lists. But does anyone have recommendations on which starter set to get first, or maybe some playthrough or teaching videos for getting my own game up and running? I will almost certainly be playing solo. I don't have a strong preference for which set (COTG, Legends, or Indies) to get but are they balanced to be mixed and matched if I wanted to?

All the starting packages are worthwhile starting points. I think there's almost an overwhelming amount of indie sets so I'd probably start with Legends or COTG. All the cards are compatible but if you don't want Kevin Steen being able to hang with Lou Thesz or Thesz fighting aliens, you might want to keep things seperate.

I'm glad to hear they are compatible. I am all for Steen fighting aliens. I guess I'll maybe just pick up whatever starter is cheapest and then maybe try and get Indie wrestlers I think I'll see at Glory Pro so I can get them signed. |

Basically you can start anywhere. Like a previous poster said, you can start with a starter set. I light just order an indie set and go with those since you live indies. But as always it’s up to you. Welcome with open arms here
