Basically you can start anywhere. Like a previous poster said, you can start with a starter set. I light just order an indie set and go with those since you live indies. But as always it’s up to you. Welcome with open arms here Since Glory Pro is too small for its own set I am thinking of getting a GCW starter and then picking and choosing Indie packs to get performers I recognize and slowly build a collection

Yea you can do this. Basically consider your cost of what you can spend then buy accordingly. Lastly on the boards you can find what wrestlers are in the sets. That helps with buying

I may have mistyped. I meant the alien version of the game not game changer

I was the guy in front of you in line. Well you definitely inspired me to search this stuff out. I may have done some Twitter stalking to find the name of the game company

I was the guy in front of you in line. Well you definitely inspired me to search this stuff out. I may have done some Twitter stalking to find the name of the game company Good detective work! I first picked up Champions of the Galaxy in 1999 but only played around with it for a little while, I got into the Legends and Indies just late 2021, the resources available in 2022 vs. 90's is unbelievable, with YouTube and podcasts, etc. I'd recommend picking up the ROH or Evolve starter sets to get a big starting roster of great names, check out the lists of who is included and where you might want to start. I highly recommend Roll Up (the official Filsinger Games podcast) and Uncharted Territory podcast for game announcements, reviews, and other wrestling chatter. Board member ThrowingToasters has an amazing YouTube channel (Solo Promoter) where he plays Champions and Legends, both physical cards and online. He's also THE source of info for game mat design images (there's a thread somewhere) and card protectors, etc. The boards are obviously a great place to ask questions, feel free to say hello if you see me at Glory Pro again.

You've gotten plenty of advice here. Starter sets are a good place to start since they give you the charts and everything you need to play.
Welcome to the game though! Always cool to see new fans joining the ranks!
