Dear Paul:
Did you know that the old gent who trained you to be a sports entertainer once headlined a pro wrestling card at Fenway Park in Boston?
Did you know that over his decades-long career in the pro wrestling business, he also headlined cards at Madison Square Garden and in major arenas across the USA, Canada, Australia and Japan?
Did you know all this took place before your wife's father bought the company that now employs you?
Please tell this to Logan Paul the next time you speak to him.
Thanks for your time, Paul.

You just need to face facts that those were all bars (downgraded from smoke filled bingo halls) until sometime around 1983 when Vincent Kennedy McMahon took wrestling and lifted it on his shoulders, carrying it to heights previously unthought of.

Well didn't Gotch and Hackenschmidt wrestle out behind a barn in in Chicago in 1911? What, that was Comiskey Park? NO way! ........I honestly have NO clue what this is about, I'm just piling on.

A few months ago I saw a top wrestling match that was held in what looked like a restaurant/lounge as fans sat at dinner tables having drinks and smoking. The men in dress shirts and ties with the women in dresses. ....I too do not really know what is going on but that match popped into my head and thought I would toss it out there.

Sounds like an episode of Wrestling at the Chase, which was originally broadcast from the ballroom of the Chase Hotel in St. Louis. Wrestling in classy surroundings.
The sad part of all this is that they pass HHH off as the guy who cares about and honors the history of the business, don't they? He talked Bruno back into the fold. This is why it's important that we have institutions like the Tragos Thesz Museum to save gullible generations from the history lessons of WWE and its propagandists.

........I honestly have NO clue what this is about, I'm just piling on. Trips said on some talk show that before Vince and WWE took over, wrestling mostly took place in bars, a seeming downgrade from the previous company line that it all happened in smoke filled armories and bingo halls. Someone actually posted a picture from the Gotch/Hack match on Twitter with the caption "Bars were much bigger 110 years ago" which got a good laugh out of me.

In them there days, guys like Harley Race and Lou Thesz and Jim Londos would wrassle for nothing more than a ham sammich and a glass of beer.

That always was one of the sillier yarns spun about pro wrestling, especially considering much of the history of WWWF/WWF revolved around Bruno main events in Madison Square Garden, often known as the world's most famous arena.

My memory was a bit foggy when I posted it and did not bother to clear it out. I actually saw that on Impact Plus. It was good stuff. I feel that HHH the man does but HHH the WWE employee is willing to look past it to help push WWE.
