Introduced my 7-year-old to COTG yesterday and I was thrilled that he took to the game play so quickly. We enjoyed a physical tilt between Exo-King and Mutant that saw the former come away with the victory only to suffer a brutal attack that culminated in a Temple Grinder post match! The highlight of the day was a series of matches between Pit Viper and Executioner that seesawed wildly and saw both combatants secure a pair of victories. My boy really latched on to the sandbox approach to the game and delighted in each of us trash-talking as our characters. It really brought me back to so many Friday and Saturday nights spend with my cousin, Ryan. Looking forward to jump starting my fed from 2087 and drafting a second fed with my boy!

It doesn't get any better than this! My fed was the funnest when I played with my young son, he brought so much personality to the characters and each match was personal.

Great hearing these stories. I wish my own son (now 11) would show some interest. I've lost him to PS4 & football (thankfully I love footy)!

I continue to be surprised by just how effortlessly he's taken to the gameplay. And unlike video games and board games, he seems to find joy in the activity even when his character loses -- he delights in demanding an impromptu rematch.
