Well hello there. After getting sucked in with LOW, I’ve had a slow burning curiosity to try out CotG. So this is that attempt.. from the beginning, kinda. FormatI plan on staying relatively true to the “official” timelines, at least at the start of the year, and letting feuds and stories take me down an organic path. I’ll generally stick to the cards of the given year, and the plan is to progress accordingly. RulesThe dice are law, and we live with their results. I’m just here to comment, document, and explain said results. Booking will be done based on what makes sense in my head at the time, and likely not follow any hard and fast results based formula. ShowsWe’ll have smaller house shows that lead to larger “events” where titles will be on the line and feuds will culminate. I’m not sticking to any hard number to “complete” the year, but we’ll likely stick to a 4-5 house shows for every event, with roughly 5-10 events making up the “year”. CardsI’ll be starting from the beginning, working through the re-imagined sets as they come out. If for some crazy reason I get ahead of their release (unlikely) I may either dip into the b/w sets pending availability, or jump ahead. We’ll see. For now, we got a good couple of years to get through, and I’m not in any kind of rush. All rules/guidelines subject to change at any time in the name of fun… Its up to you Promoter!

As we closed out the year 2086, the Galactic Wrestling Federation was left with a rather large problem. The Heavyweight Title- due to a series of highly contested finishes- was without an undisputed owner. Instead of trying to unpack the various claims on the belt, the board decided to open 2087 with a full scale Battle Royal to determine once and for all, who the current champion truly is. To avoid any disputes from anyone on the roster, it was decided that the entire GWF would participate- with the last man standing in the ring crowed the undisputed GWF Heavyweight Champion.
Participants for the first ever, GALACTIC RUMBLE, are: Star Warriors Thantos Omega Commander Sam Massif Wolf Comrade Terror Exo-King Lord Nexus Actagon Proteus Executioner Killer Queen Death Knight Brute Massacre Beast Rider Renegade Vanity Krakan Mutant Ghengis Khan Pit Viper Pulsar Red Talon Duke of Destruction

A sold out Deimos crowd was brimming with anticipation for what has felt like the start of a new era in the GWF. For the first time ever, the entire roster would be set against each other in a winner take all Battle Royal for the Heavyweight Championship. No friends, no allys. Truly every man for himself- and let me tell you, it was a hellova show. Here is the breakdown of eliminations as well as who eliminated who: Renegade (by Kraken) Massif (by Thantos) Pit Viper (by Death Knight) Executioner (by Pulsar) Omega (by Commander Sam) Ghengis Khan (by Death Knight) Pulsar (by Commander Sam) Actagon (by Wolf) Red Talon (by Brute) Massacre (by Krakan) Exo King ( by Wolf) Commander Sam (by Star Warrior) Mutant (by Proteus) Wolf (by Krakan) Brute (by Star Warrior) Invincible Krakan (by Comrade Terror) Beast Rider (Comrade Terror) Proteus (by Thantos) Thantos (by Vanity) Killer Queen (by Comrade Terror) Comrade Terror (by Duke of Destruction) Death Knight (by Duke of Destruction) Vanity (by Lord Nexus) Duke of Destruction (by Lord Nexus) Lord Nexus (by Star Warrior) The Winner of the match: Star WarriorStar Warrior is the NEW GWF Heavyweight ChampionshipMatch Rating: ★★★★ Some notes from the match/show: By far the biggest surprise of the match was how early Massif got eliminated. At nearly 7 feet 500 pounds he was a popular pick to go far, but Thantos seemed to key in on him early and that was that… Speaking of Thantos- his own early exit via a sneak attack from Vanity (his sole elimination) is almost surely going to have ripple effects in the weeks to come. As fun as it was to watch Vanity’s unlikely run into the top four, The Breaker of the Galactic Code was visibly furious at being eliminated, and sent down The Evil Ones to attack Vanity once he was eliminated… With so many surprising early exits (we didn’t even get around to Wolf or Exo King), The real shocker of the night was the Duke of Destruction flirting with being one of the final two wrestlers. Not only that, but the Duke eliminated Commrade Terror and Death Knight before going toe to toe with Lord Nexus before finally going over the top rope. Will be interesting to see how that plays into his pending bid to be part of The Evil Ones… The end of the match saw Star Warrior celebrate with the belt, after a tense but respectful handshake between him and Lord Nexus. Most of us up in the press booth speculated that Nexus seems most likely to get the first crack at the new champ, but we’ll have to see. As fans started beaming out of the stadium, the announcement played that the next house show would take place on Earth’s moon. The announced card: LUNAR HOUSE SHOW#1 Vanity & Killer Queen vs Space Croppers Omega vs Commrade Terror Flying Titan’s (Pulsar & Viper) vs The Society of Death (Mutant & Khan) Massif vs Exo King Wolf vs Invincible Krakan
We’ll also hear from The Heavyweight Champion- Star Warrior as well as Thantos and The Evil Ones!

Lunar House Show #1 Lunar Earth 2087
This is the first wrestling event at the brand new Lunar Arena, which has been under construction for just under two years. It is swanky, but fairly small- I’m not sure this could hold a full event, but it seems perfect for these smaller house shows. Big pyrotechnics to kick things off, before the ring announcer came out to announce the card. Crowd seemed pumped for the main event.
Vanity & Killer Queen vs. Beast Rider & Renegade Shockingly one sided match that saw renegade never even tagged into the match. Beast Rider got in trouble early and just never found his corner. Vanity looked like a million bucks.
Vanity beat Beast Rider via PULVERIZER in 15 min (*)
After the match, Thantos and Evil Ones came out to celebrate with Vanity and Killer Queen. Thantos took to the mic, and said tonight might be a good night to add a new member to the group, and everyone started shaking Vanity’s hand. Then, out of nowhere, Killer Queen gave Vanity a low blow and everyone put the boots to Vanity. The group picked Vanity up and Thantos nailed him with a Satanic Skull Crusher… twice, before locking in the Masterlock as the rest of the group kept raining down kicks. The group turned to leave… but then Thantos grabbed a chair and slid back into the ring to crack Vanity’s unconscious skull.
Vanity remained unconscious as he was stretchered out of the ring...
Omega vs. Comrade Terror The Thantos attack sucked the life out of the crowd, but Omega brought it all back. The future hall of famer turned back the clock, absorbing early offense from Terror before making a big comeback and securing the win.
Omega beat Comrade Terror via cosmic war dance in 14 min (***)
Pit Viper & Pulsar vs. Mutant & Ghengis Khan Maybe the match of the night, as both teams bought their A game to this one, flying around the ring in a high action fast paced match up. The Flying Titans used their speed advantage well, keeping the stronger Society of Death off balance and unable to ever really cut off the ring.
Pit Viper beat Mutant via pinfall in 30 min (***)
A championship celebration was up next, as Star Warrior came out to address fans. After a brief speech, Lord Nexus came out to congragulate the champ, and offer up a challenge. It seemed only fitting that the last two Rumble participants square off in Star Warrior’s first defense. The crowd ate this up- but before Star Warrior could officially accept, the Duke of Destruction came out. He noted that he and Nexus eliminated the same number of people in the Rumble, and were both worthy of a title shot. After some back and forth, it was decided that the #1 contender would be decided at the main event of next week’s show.
MAIN EVENT: Wolf vs. Invincible Krakan Wolf gets a measure of revenge for Krakan eliminating him in the Rumble. The crowd was red hot for this one, primarily because Wolf was involved, though the match itself wasn’t particularly good. Krakan controlled early, but Wolf made a short comeback before dropping Krakan with a kick to the head.
Wolf beat Invincible Krakan via kick to the head in 23 min (*)
Next week’s card was also announced:
LUNAR HOUSE SHOW #2 Space Croppers vs Killer Queen & Death Knight Massif vs Exo King Gladiators of Aethra vs The Greek Gods Thantos vs Commander Sam #1 Contender Match: Lord Nexus vs Duke of Destruction

Star Warrior as champ?!?!? Same here... Omega shocking the universe and pulling out the win against Comrade Terror! Great couple of cards sir! Yeah a part of me was hoping for a surprise champ to come out of the Rumble, but this at least establishes a heavy hitter as the initial belt holder. And I was so jazzed Omega won, would love to give him a mini push in this game year if the dice allow. Thanks for following along!

Lunar House Show #2 Lunar Earth 2087
An exciting vibe in the air tonight as we figure out who Star Warrior’s first title defense will be against, plus the first Lunar appearance of the Gladiators. The ring announcers breaks down the card before we get straight into the action...
Beast Rider & Renegade vs. Death Knight & Killer Queen Hard fought back and forth that saw at one point all four men brawling outside the ring. The Space Croppers seemed to own the advantage but Beast Rider got isolated from his corner and couldn’t get relief, finally getting taken out by Death Rider.
Death Knight beat Beast Rider via death ride in 17 min (***)
Massif vs. Exo King Holy crap these two went all out in this one, and put together an early favorite for Match of the Year… in a friggin house show. Massif took control early, then King Exo came back and scored a number of near falls against the big man. Massif would rally late and score the well deserved win.
Massif beat Exo King via VOLCANIC DROP in 35 min (*****)
Thantos, scheduled for a match later this evening, came out to address the crowd. He said that Galaxian Villains had no place for weakness. And Vanity is weak- too weak to know his place in this world. All roads lead to Thantos and his destiny as the GWF Heavyweight Champion. Tonight is the first step in proving that against Commander Sam.
Actagon & Proteus vs. Massacre & Brute Gladiators controlled this one most of the way, pouring the offense on and keeping The Greek Gods on their heels the entire match. It looked for a second that Actagon would mount a late comeback but Massacre cut it off, and put a finish to the match.
Afterward Brute got on the mic and demanded that the GWF bring out the Tag Team titles and award them to the best team in the Galaxy...
Massacre beat Actagon via DECAPITATOR in 25 min (**)
Thantos vs. Commander Sam Not a whole lot to this one, after some mild back and forth Thantos distracted Commander Sam and rolled him up for the quick win. Thantos left the ring grinning ear to ear as Sam stood frustrated looking on.
Thantos beat Commander Sam via pinfall in 12 min (**)
MAIN EVENT: #1 Contender Match: Lord Nexus vs. Duke of Destruction Lord Nexus left absolutely nothing to chance in this one- dominating the entire match. The Duke tried repeatedly to mount some sort of offense that was routinely shut down by Nexus, who picked up a dominant win, before jumping on the turnbuckle and making a belt motion to the crowd...
Lord Nexus beat Duke of Destruction via TITAN DROP in 15 min (**)
Next week’s card was also announced:
LUNAR HOUSE SHOW #3 Omega & Commander Sam vs Ghengis Khan & Mutant Wolf vs Executioner Comrade Terror vs Pit Viper Star Warrior & Massif vs Lord Nexus & Pulsar
Plus we’ll hear from The Evil Ones, and get an update on Vanity!

Lunar House Show #3 Lunar, Earth 2087
The show opened with a massive announcement: The first supercard of the year will be STARGAZE, live from the Titan Sportatorium- with the main event Star Warrior vs Lord Nexus for the GWF Heavyweight Championship. The show will also see a new Tag Team champion with more details coming later in the show...
Omega & Commander Sam vs. Mutant & Ghengis Khan The two Federation Defense wrestlers really looked there age in this one. Khan and Mutant controlled most of the way, never getting in any real danger. Omega especially, coming off that thrilling win against Comrade Terror a couple weeks ago, struggled to sustain any offense.
Ghengis Khan (0) and MUTANT (0) beat OMEGA (3) and Commander Sam (1) via TEMPLE GRINDER in 35 min (**)
The audience is directed to the jumbotron for a video message from Vanity. Vanity, still recovering from the savage beat down at the hands of Thantos, gave an update on his condition. While he’s not cleared to wrestle now, he will be in two weeks. And he made it clear he wants revenge. Vanity challenges Thantos to a No DQ "Sam's Brawl" match at Stargaze.
Wolf vs. Executioner Executioner came out really strong and put Wolf on his heels. It looked like we had an upset in the making until Wolf fired back with a huge comeback and secured the win.
Wolf (2) beat Executioner (0) via atomic knee drop in 16 min (**)
Back to the video board where details of a Tag Team Tournament are revealed. The brackets are set, with the first round happening next week and the semi finals and the finals taking place at Stargaze. First Round matchups:
Space Croppers vs Gladiators of Aethra
Federation Defense (Omega/Sam) vs Comrade Terror & Executioner
Society of of Death (Mutant/Khan) vs Flying Titans (Viper/Pulsar)
Evil Ones (Killer Queen/Death Knight) vs The Greek Gods
Comrade Terror vs. Pit Viper Terror left nothing to the imagination, dominating this match from bell to bell and shaking off his loss to Omega from two weeks ago.
Comrade Terror (0) beat Pit Viper (1) via atomic knee drop in 15 min (*)
MAIN EVENT: Massif & Star Warrior vs. Lord Nexus & Pulsar Federation Fighters had the early advantage, but Massif found himself in trouble against the quicker Titans- and this eventually becoming his downfall. Unable to get to his corner, the Number One Contender impressively chopped down the big man and scored a big win ahead of his big title fight.
LORD NEXUS (0) and Pulsar (0) beat Star Warrior (0) & MASSIF (3) via TITAN DROP in 21 min (**)
After the main event, before Massif and Star Warrior could leave the ring, the Evil Ones came out to the ring. Exo King cannot get over losing to Massif last week and challenges the big man to a rematch at Stargaze. Massif accepts the challenge!
Next week’s card is the Tag Title Tournament first round...:
LUNAR HOUSE SHOW #4 Space Croppers vs Gladiators of Aethra Federation Defense (Omega/Sam) vs Comrade Terror & Executioner Society of of Death (Mutant/Khan) vs Flying Titans (Viper/Pulsar) Evil Ones (Killer Queen/Death Knight) vs The Greek Gods
Plus Star Warrior and Lord Nexus meet in the ring for an interview ahead of the Stargaze main event!

Lunar House Show #4 Lunar Earth 2087
On the eve of GWF’s first big show of the year, the company decided to run a tournament to set the stage for the crowning of the Tag Team Champions at Stargaze. First round brackets were announced to the crowd, followed by a face to face between Star Warrior and Lord Nexus as the main event...
Space Croppers vs. Gladiators Shockingly one sided, with Brute unable to ever get to his corner to make the tag. Eventually as the action spilled outside a frustrated Gladiators DQed themselves from the match and the tournament. They continued to beat down on the Space Choppers till officials finally broke it up, but one has to wonder what kind of shape they'll be in for the next round...
Renegade (0) and Beast Rider (0) beat Brute (4) and Massacre (0) via disqualification in 15 min. (*)
After the match, Wolf came out- laughing at the Gladiators loss. He proceeded to grab a mic and address the Gladiators:
“Since you chumps couldn’t even get past the first round- looks like your dance card is open. At STARGAZE- one of you fight me, I don’t care who...”
Federation Defense (Omega & Sam) vs. Comrade Terror & Executioner Hard fought match by the Federation veterans, but the team off Terror and Executioner was just too much. Despite some strong early offense, Omega again got caught in the wrong corner- Commader Sam made a string of saves, but Comrade Terror got his revenge on Omega with a brutal Atomic Warhead.
COMRADE TERROR (0) & Executioner (0) beat Commander Sam(0) and OMEGA (2) via ATOMIC WARHEAD in 23 min (*)
Society of of Death (Mutant &Khan) vs Flying Titans (Viper & Pulsar) Even back and forth match where no one seemed to be gaining a significant advantage till a crazy sequence where Pulsar and Mutant started reversing each other. Te result was Pulsar getting caught deep in the Temple Grinder and had to tap before Pit Viper could get over to make the save.
MUTANT (0) & Ghengis Khan (1) beat PULSAR (2) and Pit Viper (0) via TEMPLE GRINDER in 29 min (**)
Evil Ones (Killer Queen & Death Knight) vs The Greek Gods Holy smokes this one was a HUGE squash as the Greek Gods ran over the Evil Ones. Before anything could really get started Actagon submitted Death Knight out of nowhere as Proteus held back Killer Queen from saving his partner...
ACTAGON & Proteus beat DEATH KNIGHT & Killer Queen via GRECIAN SLEEPER GRIP in 7 min (*)
Before we could get to our big confrontation, it was announced that Massacre had accepted Wolfs challenge.
Back in the ring, both GWF Champion, Star Warrior, and the challenger Lord Nexus stood in the ring, mics in hand. Most of this was your typical back and forth “I respect you but…” blah blah blah. But you could tell there was some deeper tension boiling over as they started talking about the past, getting more and more personal. Nexus said something about Cosmos… Star Warrior said something about Kraken… and Nexus proceeded to nail Star Warrior with a big right cross. Star Warrior fired back, and before anything more could happen security was quickly there to break things up. Looks like the main event of STARGAZE is going to be a little bit personal...
The first big event of 2087 has been finalized, with the full card announced at the end of the show :
Galactic Wrestling Federation Presents: STARGAZE TAG TOURNEY SEMI: Space Croppers vs Comrade Terror & Executioner TAG TOURNEY SEMI: Society of of Death (Mutant/Khan) vs The Greek Gods Wolf vs Massacre NO DQ SAM’S BRAWL: Vanity vs Thantos Exo King vs Massif II GWF TAG TEAM TITLE: Winner vs Winner GWF HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE: Star Warrior (c) vs Lord Nexus

STARGAZE 2087 Titan Sportatorium 2087
This place is packed for what should be the first big show of the year. Tons of Lord Nexus fans came out to see the hometown challenger, lets hope for a good main event tonight, plus the finals of the tag tournament. The card is announced, and we get straight to the matches...
TAG TOURNEY SEMI: Space Croppers vs Comrade Terror & Executioner The match started off fairly evenly until Executioner got isolated away from his corner, then the Space Croppers dug in, keeping Terror out of the match and finishing things off with a Spinecracker submission to get into the finals.
RENEGADE (0) and Beast Rider (0) defeat Comrade Terror (0) and EXECUTIONER (3) via SPINECRACKER in 19 min (**)
TAG TOURNEY SEMI: Society of of Death (Mutant/Khan) vs The Greek Gods A high offense back and forth tag match that saw the Society of Death strike early, but the Greek Gods stayed patient and eventually pulled out the victory to get into the finals.
ACTAGON (1) and Proteus (3) defeat GHENGIS KHAN and Mutant via tope rope cross body block in 30 min (***)
Wolf vs Massacre Shockingly quick match, with Wolf dominating his former ally from the start. After the match, Brute stormed the ring and attempted to double team Wolf, who fought back both men and sent them out of the ring. Looks like we have more to come from these three...
Wolf (0) defeats Massacre (1) via SAVAGE FACE CLAW in 10 min (*)
NO DQ SAM’S BRAWL: Vanity vs Thantos Another quick match, despite the hype surrounding this grudge match. After the match, Thantos rolled out of the ring and grabbed a chair but before he could do anything- Killer Queen rushed down and pulled Vanity out of the ring. A visibly irritated Thantos dropped the chair and mocked the crowd before heading to the back...
Thantos (0) defeats Vanity (1) via MASTERLOCK in 12 min (*)
Exo King vs Massif II Another epic match between these two. Massif was dominant early but a downed referee prevented any finish from occuring. Exo King was able to recover, and put Massif in trouble multiple times with his DEATH VISE finish. Ironically it would be Massif would would lock in a brutal Bear Hug of his own that would finish the match off.
Massif (3) defeats Exo King (3) via grinding bear hug in 35 min (****)
GWF TAG TEAM TITLE: The Greek Gods vs The Space Croppers The Cinderella run for the Space Croppers ended here, as the Greek Gods proved what they set out to show from the moment this tournament started- they’re the strongest team in wrestling at this moment. Renegade tried to do too much on his own, got cornered, and never got free for a tag. The Greeks look every bit the champs, will be interesting to see who comes out as the next challengers...
ACTAGON and Proteus defeat Beast Rider and RENEGADE via GECIAN SLEEPER GRIP in 22 min (**)
GWF HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE: Star Warrior (c) vs Lord Nexus Star Warrior was utterly dominant from the start, overpowering Lord Nexus with offense. A completely shell shocked crowd watched as Nexus never got off the defensive and Star Warrior was free to land the NOVA LAUNCH and grab a decisive victory over the home town hero...
Star Warrior (0) defeats Lord Nexus (0) via NOVA LAUNCH in 7 min (*)
No card was announced after the show, but a house show circuit is expected to start up in the coming week...
