MARS HOUSE SHOW #3
2088
Eureka Asteroid Arena, Mars
Star Warrior Promo to start the show. He starts off with Thantos, saying he didn't need to go to the board to get another shot at him- he'll fight Thantos anytime, anywhere. Tonight he'll prove beyond a shadow of a doubt who the REAL Gamemaster is...*
Then he turns to Massif, who he says is a friend, a brother in arms. Lots of "I don't want to fight you, but I will if I have to" kind of stuff. Honestly cant decide who I want to win more- Massif has been on a roll and a title fight with any of these three will probably be great.
Adam Blas (2) beat Mutant (1) via piledriver in 9 min ★★
Super fun opener, as Adam Blast continues to impress. He got himself into a little trouble, almost passing out from a chokehold when the ref didn't see Mutant using the ropes for leverage. But he recovered to hit a Megablast, and followed it up with a piledriver for the win.
Exo-King (1) beat Beast Rider (1) via DEATH VISE in 8 min ★
Another strong performance from Exo-King has he starts to build a little momentum. Beast Rider did a good job using his speed to dodge Exo's power, but once the big man got those robot arms cinched in the Death Vise, there wasn't a whole lot he was going to do.
Gladiators came out next and cut a promo on the Greek Gods. Nothing special, short and to the point. At this stage, a promo is barely needed since the company has been hyping up a big title fight between these two teams for almost 2 years now.
Wolf (0) vs Reptillo (1) was ruled a DRAW due to Double DQ in 9 min when both men refused to re-enter the ring. ★
This one got personal quick. Reptillo attempted to shake hands before the match, but Wolf responded with a punch to the face. This lead to both men getting increasingly heated as the match wore on, which eventually lead to a spill outside where they exchanged slaps to the face before brawling into the crowd, as the ref simply rang the bell and called the double DQ.
Krakan & Splatter defeated TitanPower via FALLING FACE SLAM in 15 min ★
Nexus (2) Boxer (0); Krakan (0) Splatter (0)
A pretty ho hum match until Krakan got a hot tag and just eviscerated Lord Nexus, hitting back to back Falling Face Slams for the win. Then things got real crazy...
Right as the fall was counted Splatter raced over to Billy Jo Boxer and clocked him with a shovel (where on earth did that shovel even come from?). Krakan nabbed a chair and put it over Lord Nexus neck- ready to do bad things until Pit Viper and Pulsar ran down for the save... but got jumped by Mutant and Khan. With no one around to stop him, Krakan came off the top rope and right down on the chair. The Society of Death exited through the crowd as medical teams had to stretcher out both Billy Jo and Lord Nexus...
MAIN EVENT GWF HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP: Thantos (2) defeated Star Warrior (2) via Masterlock in 22 min (2 to 0) TO BECOME THE NEW CHAMP ★★
It became very obvious that there was no way Thantos was going to lose this match. When Star Warrior hit an early match Nova Blast, Thantos immediately kicked out (to the shock of the crowd). He countered everything the champion threw at him. When Star Warrior tapped from the first Masterlock, Thantos held it on until the ref threatened a DQ. Star Warrior wasn't the same after that, with a noticeable limp that carried through the rest of the match, into Thantos sinking a second Masterlock to win the match and the belt.
Afterwards, Thantos delayed and celebration and grabbed a chair and repeatedly went after the hurt knee of the former champion. Finally, Massif ran down to make the save, as the two members of RED MOON RISING Main Event squared off as the show went off the air.... what a crappy night for the good guys.
Next week’s card was announced:
Marks House Show #4
Killer Queen vs Omega
Bomb Squad vs Norse Gods
Proteus vs Massacre
Animal Pack vs Flying Titans (Pit Viper & Pulsar)
