I might have said this in another thread... Daryl Banks doing new art got me back into the game and w, adnilling to spend money on it. I will likely buy anything he does art for.. I agree some Larry Snelly cards are great, a few a definitely not... I'm sure we all would say the same about every artist. Heck, Banks even missed a bit on Comrade Terror, IMO If Banks doing new art for 2094 and beyond is not cost effective, y'all will just have to wait until my re-started fed get there for me to buy the sets, but I'll definitely still buy them

The other reimagined were all Werner and my guess is if we do eventually get a color 2094 it probably wont be Banks.

While I’ve never seen 2087 described as bad or anything, I feel like the universal feelings are that 87 is the weakest of all the reimagined sets. Maybe that’s just because of the funky Star Warrior and Thantos art.
Maybe I’m wrong but that’s the feedback I’ve gotten regularly over the years.

You hit the nail on the head Swarm, those cards are really out there concept wise (reimaged for sure lol). That Commander Sam and Brute artwork though is stupendous!

I love that Commander Sam artwork....Ghengis Khan also hits the nail on the head.
Killer Queen though...blehh....the alternate KQ is much better for that.

But the Star Warrior art is fantastic. Why would anyone have a problem with it?

Thor had just hit theaters and all of a sudden Star Warrior had a stubble beard like Thor.

Never bothered me, because I though the art was pretty great. The Thantos art I never cared for, especially after the original being so good. I know Tom's issue with the original Thantos was he looked too old.
