Death of the ambulance chaser

Growing up there were many jokes and insults about some lawyers being ambulance chasers. Well, those days are gone. Oh, it is not that there are not still greedy lawyers out there. It is just they realized instead of chasing the ambulance they can put an ad on TV and other places and have the victims come to them. Take these recent ads for victims of Camp Lejeune. I am sure you have seen them because they keep making more and more and are EVERYWHERE. I wasn't sure why at first till I heard the government has already set aside a multi BILLION settlement to pay the victims. The lawyers are seeing all that free money. I mean if the fund is only 1-3 billion that is roughly 400 million to 1.2 billion up for grabs in lawyer fees for getting the victims their money. That means as long as there is money in the fund we will be inundated with these ads. Makes me almost miss the ambulance chaser.

I was flipping through the channels today and noticed a half-hour INFOMERCIAL about Camp Lejeune was on!

Not surprising with so much money set aside to pay victims. The slimy lawyers, I say slimy to distinguish from decent ones, are out there trying to get their piece of the victim's pie.
