KB the loose cannon! I loved his DOT origin story. Promoter spotlights are definitely a favorite of mine. KB made Jamestown sound like castle rock lol.
As for the CM Punk-Elite fallout I keep hearing the term work shoot and all I keep thinking is, “We have a better term for this… its called Kayfabe.” So I agree with Todd. Work shoots are the new kayfabe and I love it. I want more of this from wrestling because wrestling is better when you have to ask yourself is this real.
As for the Bucks would kick the door in. I can see how it could happen. For example KB thought there was beef between him and Sam. He, like a man, addressed it head on. There was nothing there and him and Sam are good. But say KB went the passive aggressive route and started saying things behind Sam’s back. Sam hears it for months before going on the podcast to drop his own pipe bomb. Now things are past the point of talking and everyone is tough when they have numbers on their side.

KB your passion for the game is so contagious. After an incredibly rough day at work, it inspired me to roll a card. It was definitely a pleasure to meet you at GCON. Your kindness really shines through and I can say that for a newcomer you definitely made me feel welcome. You make come across as gruff, but again that is just being opinionated, which I sometimes come off as gruff too. You just speak your mind honestly and I appreciate that almost more than your passion for this community! It was a pleasure meeting you as well sir, and many thanks for the kind words! |

It doesn't matter if you've been to 17 Galacticons or even all 32 - once you come to your first, YOU'RE FAMILY! |

It doesn't matter if you've been to 17 Galacticons or even all 32 - once you come to your first, YOU'RE FAMILY! The loose cannon comment is because it seemed like everyone was holding their breath when u spoke but u did a great job KB. You could definitely be the 4th man |

LOL What are you thinking giving ~KB~ a live mic?!?!? You never know what that S.O.B. is going to say! Sam doesn't like to, but he had the option to edit me. LOL I just had fun talking with Sam Fain Tournament Master & Mike M and rambling on incoherently about my past COTG experiences. HMmmmm... The fourth man, I like it. I forgot to mention, at GenCon 2011 She-Devil aka Ashley was there and her presence pulled A LOT of people into the booth where I sold all the sets. I heard the next year at Galacticon a certain promoter was stuck to her like glue. LOL |

Yes, indeed. To the point another promoter had to basically shield her that weekend.
You don't see that really at Gen Con anymore. Lost the same as swag.

There have certainly been some…interesting…takes from the wrestling fan community on how actual fights work out. It’s a fun intersection of folks that didn’t watch those Punk UFC matches and people that never learned why you don’t stomp your feet when you throw a punch.

I finished listening to this episode today. It was great to hear KB on today's show!
However, I don't think AEW's media scrum was a work (although I would not be surprised if they turn at least part of this into a storyline later.)

Work? Not sure about that, but those rumors about HHH offering Kenny & the Bucks monster deals to come to WWE in 2024 w MJF sure are juicy.
