Any guesses who the card we're getting as mentioned on Roll Up?
I wonder if someone big got signed at the HOF weekend with the agreement that proceeds go to the HOF. I'm thinking possibly Jim Ross or even JBL.
I'm still hoping to see a Brodie Lee legends card released.
Maybe it's just the re-released King Kong Bundy.

If it's Bundy, won't have to worry about getting it.

Bundy's a good bet because there's so much apparent demand for the big feller.

I still don't see Bundy taking a slot in either. Not sure how they'll end up releasing him.
I could see it be a big name though not necessarily HOF but a deal of some sort for sure. Perhaps a HOF who has passed but Filsinger is doing a card for his family. We'll find out soon enough.

I concur with the post about a possible big signing with proceeds to the hall. I already have Bundy, so I'd hope for somebody else. But Bundy's going to happen sooner than later so I wouldn't be surprised if it's him.

I don’t know but my guess is that since the first Bundy color card was a limited edition card that his upcoming color card would also be a limited edition card. That way he is not taking up a spot in a set or in Promoter Prine since many of us already have Bundy in color but those who do not have him and collectors could still get him as a limited edition card. I don’t know who the LOW Q3 SE release is but I would be very surprised if it is Bundy as it would seem more likely to release him instead in the very next quarter, Q4, since there is a Northeast theme already announced for that time period.

I know it's a long shot but my money is on Mick Foley. He's always doing a tie in to charities and whatnot. I could see him donating proceeds to the HOF. Again, a long shot, but a fan can dream.

I hope, just from a business prospective, that it's someone new and not Bundy. A Bundy re-release (Either a Big Daddy Bundy or one with a special midget chart or downgraded stats from the second run with DiBiase) is perfect for a PP release. If the SE is something new, more people will buy it.

I'm just going to say right now there's NO WAY they'd make an early career or downgraded Bundy a special edition card, if anyone would even make those at all. If FG can get him back into the catalog of available cards I'm imagining something like they did with Greg Valentine as part of a Prime release. Alternatively a "northeast" set could see him with new art and remixed stats and that would be okay too.
As far as this special edition release, I couldn't even begin to guess. I don't THINK it's one of those "superstar dream signings". If you look at who has been done over the past several years they've been pretty random and unpredictable. So I'll just go with my standard answer of Bugsy McGraw because that would certainly be a "special" release.
