I see Jarrad Davis is out for the season even before it begins. Hate to say it but not a loss to the Giants. I always liked him and pulled for him but as time has gone on he has had less and less of an impact.

Giants sign James Robinson for their backfield. Really good signing as it not sure if Barkley will play or sit out. Even if he plays Robinson gives some solid depth. Maybe he can get back to the explosive player he was as a rookie. Even if not, still a decent player.
They also signed Cole Beasley. Um, I guess they had a roster spot to fill.

Doesn't necessarily mean he'll make the team. You put in some bodies for training camp and see what happens.

Yea that is what I was thinking. He did not do much last year and has already retired once. He might surprise but does not look like he has much left in the tank.

Saquon Barkley signed his franchise tag. He will report to camp and be ready for the season. Hopefully they can come up with a good long term contract for him. While he is making a lot of money for this season it does seem low for a guy of his ability.

6 days your Giants and my Lions meet in their first preseason game. Here is hoping we both come out healthy and see our teams get better. Of course, none of the stars and probably starters for the regular season will probably see the field but still.

Jalin Hyatt had a 33-yard catch that went for a TD. He needed that. His previous two catches this preseason went for -4 and -3 yards. Yikes.

First team looked good. Glad they won but man those reserves made the game too interesting.
