I feel the Giants pain today. Losing by a single point when you know you should have won the game. The Giants will be better next year. The problem is they are in the same division as Philly and Dallas.

I feel the Giants pain today. Losing by a single point. I feel my own pain today as I had the Rams but they did not cover the spread by winning only by 1 point and in the process they still secured the 6th spot in the playoffs over my Seahawks lol. I called the Bears game but this one did not work in my favor. Oh well, at least I won yesterday by taking the Lions at +4.5 and on Thursday night by taking the Browns, depending on how my afternoon ticket goes I will at least break even. |

Regarding that afternoon/evening ticket I mentioned above, I did win that one as I had KC -7 (they won by 8) and Packers +1.5. So I turned my original $40 on Thursday into about $75 with my Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday winning tickets. |

For sure. Picking up pieces. Lost Barkley but Philly might have overspent to get him. Philly is getting a stacked RB room. Not sure what they will do with all those RBs.

The latest CBS mock draft has the Giants taking J.J. McCarthy, the QB out of Michigan, in the first round. What do you think of that possibility TTX ? I think he should be good in the NFL and in the right situation could be great. Just might need a year to adjust to passing more. He did not need to pass a lot in college but that does not mean he can't do it. |

QBs are always tough. They'll talk up 6 or 7 and usually no more than two are really anything close to franchise QBs. If they feel he's the guy, go for it but I definitely wouldn't overpay for him. Personally, I'd like them to get one of the receivers myself. They really need a #1 and they have about 6 #2s or lower instead.
