Greg Valentine v. Ron Hutchison
Referee: Morgan Dollar
Valentine has words with the referee before the bell and Dollar is clearly not impressed. Hutchison takes some punishment early but manages to catch Valentine on the top and tossed him to the mat. A SHEDIAC LOBSTER TRAP nearly ends it. Valentine when kicks out after a Kiwi Roll. Valentine comes back with falling elbow hammers and chops before using a FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK to get the submission after about seven minutes. Winner: Valentine. **
Baron Von Raschke v. “Sodbuster” Kenny Jay
Referee: Joey Marella
The fans were all over Von Raschke when he goes after Gary Michael Cappetta during his introduction. Jay strikes from behind to save the day and then dominated 90% of the action. Jay picked up a huge near fall after a body slam and even caught Von Raschke off the top with a smash. Von Raschke counted a double forearm clap late and then gained the submission with a BRAIN CLAW after about nine minutes of one-sided action. Winner: Von Raschke * ½
Canadian Heavyweight Champion The Destroyer stops in with Gordon Solie to share his thoughts on his championship victory over Randy Savage. Destroyer gets fired up when Solie asked about his recent loss to Mikey Whipwreck and Destroyer promises that will be corrected shortly.
Non-Title Match – Canadian Heavyweight Champion The Destroyer v. Mikey Whipwreck
Referee: Dick Woehrle
The fans are solidly behind Whipwreck and he responds taking over the match with his high flying offensive attack. Destroyer manages to counter back and uses a backbreaker to get a near fall. The action goes to the floor and Whipwreck backdrops Destroyer onto the ringside table, smashing it. Woehrle calls for the disqualification after about six minutes. Greg Valentine attacks Whipwreck from behind and is joined by Destroyer for a two and one attack. “Macho Man” Randy Savage hits the ring with a chair in hand to break things up. Destroyer and Valentine escape followed by the Macho Man leaving Whipwreck confused in the ring. Winner: Destroyer by disqualification. * ½
Brutus Beefcake v. Frogman Leblac
Referee: Morgan Dollar
Beefcake is out with an entirely new look carrying gardening sheers. LeBlanc jumps him during the introductions and runs Beefcake into the ring post. LeBlanc controls early but Beefcake manages to battle back and takes the win with a clothesline after about four minutes. Winner: Beefcake *
Canadian Open Tag Team Champions Road Warriors (Hawk & Animal) w/Paul Ellering v. Larry Sharpe & Johnny Rodz
Referee: Joey Marella
The champions were in a foul mood and that did not was not good news for Sharpe who tasted the ring post battering ram style and then was crushed by the DOOMSDAY DEVICE after about two minutes. Winners: Warriors DUD
Road Warriors and Ellering are interviewed by Gordon Solie after the match but are interrupted by Sheepherders who are not interested in talking. Both sides have to be separated by security. Solie reminds fans to watch the local arena for the next matchup between the two teams.
“Macho Man” Randy Savage v Ted DiBiase w/Virgil
Referee: Joey Marella
DiBiase pays a young fan to bounce a basketball ten times but Virgil kicks the ball away at eight earing sold heat. The action gets off to a quick start and Savage hits a FLYING ELBOW SMASH but cannot get the three count. DiBiase comes back after a brawl on the floor but cannot get the win with a COBRA CLUTCH. It is back and forth. Savage hits a second FLYING ELBOW SMASH but Virgil interferes turning the momentum of the match. The action goes back to the floor and Virgil gets involved again with a smash to the back of the Savage during the brawl which causes Marella to call for the disqualification after ten minutes. Winner: Savage by disqualification. ** ½
George Hackenschmidt v. George South
Referee: Morgan Dollar
Hackenschmdit looks impressive and despatches with South in just one minute with a RUSSIAN BEAR HUG. Winner: Hackenschmidt DUD
Brian Christopher v. Austin Idol
Referee: James Beard
Despite the size difference between these two, the small Christopher comes out strong and rocks the fans with a sunset flip power bomb to the floor. Idol is clearly in a fight and struggles to maintain any offense. Twice Idol kicks out after a HIP HOP DROP but Christopher never lets up and a DDT plants Idol for the dominating victory after about seven minutes. Winner: Christopher * ½
Captain Lou Albano leads the Valiant Brothers to speak with Gordon Solie. Albano and the Valiant’s have nothing good to say about Solie or teams in Maple Leaf Wrestling. They take shots at Brian Blair & Brickhouse Brown, who are waiting in the ring, as well and this causes Brown and Blair to take action starting a wild brawl.
Brian Blair & Brickhouse Brown v. Valiant Brothers (“Handsome” Jimmy Valiant & “Luscious” Johnny Valiant) w/Captain Lou Albano

Blair and Brown carried the momentum of the brawl to the ring early in the match but the double teaming of the Valiant Brothers soon turned the tide of the match. Blair found himself cut off from his corner ad the Valiants went to work including a DOUBLE CLOTHESLINE for a near fall and later a foreign object blow from Handsome Jimmy that busted Blair open. The blood loss and the beating was too much for Blair and the Valiant Brother won that match after a SPINNING NECKBREAKER from Johnny Valiant after about 12 minutes. Winners: Valiant Brothers. * ½
Prince Kharis w/James Mitchell v. Jake “The Milkman” Milliman
Referee: Morgan Dollar
Dollar is not impressed with the ranting of the Mitchell before the bell. Milliman thrills the fans with an impressive outing dominating long stretches of the match. Milliman was not able to find a way to get Kharis’s shoulders to the mat however before the action spilled to the floor. Kharis smashed Milliman with a chair and that was enough for Dollar to call for the bell after about nine minutes. Winner: Milliman by disqualification *
Dan Severn v. Joe Blanchard
Referee: Dick Woehrle, Vintage Charts
This was a mat classic from bell to bell. Severn and Blanchard traded counters. Severn took control with a series of throws and then went for the submission with a CHOKE SLEEPER and alter with a ARMBAR. Blanchard stayed alive by making the ropes and then used his agility to frustrate Severn and to get out of tight situations. The created space allowed Blanchard to hit a running bulldog after twelve minutes for the huge victory. Winner: Blanchard ** ½
Fantastics Bobby Fulton & Tommy Rogers are interviewed by Gordon Solie and talk about their goal to capture the Canadian Open Tag Team Titles before heading to the ring.

Fulton battles Miller and then Williams catching Williams with a right hand punch that stuns Williams for the three count in less than one minute! Winner: Fantastics DUD

The fans pop when they are treated to Savage v. Destroyer with both men having their moments in control. Whipwreck gets caught in the ring for several minutes after Destroyer rams his leg off the ring post earing huge heat for the champion. Whipwreck survives Destroyer’s FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK. He also makes the ropes to escape a FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK from Valentine but Valentine does not let up and uses a FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK to get the win after ten minutes. . Winners: Destroyer & Valentine **
