Both men were making their debut and the size of Bundy told the story. Virgil was able to get a brief offensive flurry midway through the match including a clothesline that put Bundy to the mat and a back suplex but Bundy came back and crushed Virgil with a big splash for the three count after about five minutes. Winner: Bundy *
NWA Canadian Heavyweight Champion Frank Gotch gives him thoughts to Gordon Solie at ringsidie about the level of competition in Ontario and expresses his confidence of keeping the title for a long time.
NWA Canadian Heavyweight Champion Frank Gotch v. Ron Hutchison
Referee: Morgan Dollar
Hutchison catches Gotch coming into the corner with a stiff clothesline but cannot capitalize and Gotch comes back and quickly puts Hutchinson away with an Iowa backdrop after just over a minute. Winner: Gotch. DUD
Stan Hansen speaks with Gordon Solie telling everyone the entire locker room is scared to get in the ring. Solie looks scared to death.
Stan Hansen v. Mikey Whipwreck
Referee: Joey Marella
Hansen storms the ring and thrashes Whipwreck as the fans roar in disapproval. A LARIAT turns Whipwreck inside out but somehow he gets a shoulder up at the last second. Hansen take the battle to the floor and Whipwreck goes punch for punch. Back to the floor again and Hansen grabs his bull rope and smashes Whipwreck with the cowbell. Marella makes the disqualification call after just three minutes. Whipwreck is busted open as Hansen tears up ringside and returns to the back. Winner: Whipwreck by disqualification *
Dutch Savage v. George South
Referee: Morgan Dollar
Savage gets control with wild punches and kicks and plants South with a RUNNING PILEDRIVER in less than a minute.

Savage stops in with Gordon Solie and tells us he will coming to cities around the Province looking for a fight.
NWA International Champion Great Gama v. Nacho Barrera
Referee: James Beard
Gama controls this one from bell to bell and gets the win with a GAMA THROW in just under two minutes. Winner: Gama DUD
Long Riders accost Gordon Solie at ringside and earn some heat when they speak their minds about their goals in Maple Leaf Wrestling
American Males (Marcus Alexander Bagwell & Scotty Riggs) v. Long Riders (“Wild” Bill Irwin & Scott “Hog” Irwin)

The Irwins control against Bagwell early on but a key tag to Riggs turns the tables. A dropkick catches Scott Irwin in the chin for a near fall. The Males follow up with a DOUBLE DROPKICK for a two count and then Bagwell plants Irwin with a YELLOWJACKET SUPLEX for the three count after five minutes. Winners: Males * ½
Masked Superstar v. Ranger Ross
Referee: Dick Woehrle
Superstar took control with his size and power initially but then it was agility showcased with back to back to back flying cross chops that did some damage. The action spilled to the floor and Superstar choked out Ross with a television cord which was enough for Woehrle to call for the disqualification after 5 minutes of action. Winner: Ross by disqualification. *
Masked Superstar is interviewed by Gordon Solie and has nothing good to say about the officiating and tells Ross he will see him again on road.
Canadian Open Tag Team Champions “Playboy” Buddy Rose & Chris Candido are interviewed by Gordon Solie and Rose calls the pairing the greatest light heavyweight tag team in history.
Canadian Open Tag Team Champions “Playboy” Buddy Rose & Chris Candido v. “Sodbuster” Kenny Jay & Jake “Milkman” Milliman

Jay has the fans roaring early when he controls the action. Rose counters a backdrop with a piledriver and then tags out to Candido who finished Milliman with a BLONDE BOMB after four minutes. Rose & Candido. DUD

Dollar has strict instructions for both competitors who start the action with a handshake. Roop and Shamrock go move for move, hold for hold. Roop with a suplex and stuns Shamrock but Shamrock comes back working the leg and body. Shamrock executes a power slam and then transitions to an ANKLE LOCK for the submission after seven minutes. Ken Shamrock speaks with Gordon Solie but is interrupted by the NWA Canadian Heavyweight Champion Frank Gotch when Shamrock claims he is best wrestler. Gotch shoves and a melee breaks out the requires security to break up.
Tiger Conway Sr. & Tiger Conway Jr. v. Mike Jackson & Keith Steinborn

Jackson gets cut off from the outset and the father and son duo go to work. Conway Jr. hits a FLYING HEAD BUTT for two and half count. Conway Sr. then follows up with a LET’S TWIST & HEAD BUTT for the win after four minutes. Winners: Conway Sr. & Conway Jr. DUD
“Macho Man” Randy Savage v. Johnny Rodz
Referee: Morgan Dollar
Savage is fired up and dominates this match with is speed. A series of vaulting neck snaps rocks Rodz and Savage then crushed him with a FLYING ELBOW SMASH after three minutes. Winner: Savage DUD
“Macho Man” Randy Savage is interviewed by Gordon Solie but is interrupted by Masked Superstar who challenges Savage to face him. Savage accepts and the match will take place as part of the upcoming event in London.
Brad Armstrong & Red Bastien v. The Fabulous Kangaroos (Al Costello & Roy Heffernan) w/”Wild” Red Berry
Referee: Morgan Dollar
Both sides were able to make tags to keep the momentum changing after Dollar issues strict instructions to both teams. Armstrong and Bastien double up for an arm wringer and chops on Heffernan. Armstrong scales the corner and hits a cross body deathjump but Heffernan rolls through and with a hook of the trunks gets the three count after seven minutes. Winners: Kangaroos *
Dark Match: NWA Canadian Heavyweight Champion Frank Gotch v. NWA International Champion Great Gama
Referee: Morgan Dollar, Vintage Charts
A handshake starts the action and both men settle in to what started as a defensive encounter. Gotch begins to press the attack including a series of Iowa backdrops and reverse nelson. Gotch works the upper and lower body on the mat and scores a couple of two counts. Gama is unable to use his size advantage while on the mat but eventually gets things back to a vertical base and uses a series of throws and suplexes to punish Gotch. A double leg and slam gets a two count. Gotch uses a thumb to the eye to stop the attack of his opponent which earns him some heat. Later, Gotch uses a series of punches to down Gama for a near fall which also has the fans up in arms. Gotch uses a reverse nelson to nearly force the submission late in the match before an Iowa backdrop finally puts Gama down for the three count after 37 minutes of action. Winner: Gotch. ****
