Ingame, what's the effect of having a secondary belt btw? Is everyone in the fed roster still free to pursue it as well as the Galaxian Champion one? Do they only signup for one or the other? Can one wrestler hold both? (If I remember correctly, Ultimate Warrior was holding the IC belt when he won the WWE championship from Hull Hogan back in Wrestlemania III, and he had to give up the IC belt.) If it isn't a separate track, it would just kind of be like a consolation belt for those top wrestlers who could't be Galaxian Champion. If it is an exclusive track, then it needs to have something separating it distinctly from the Galaxian Champion title. Just musing out loud as I currently am also thinking of introducing it in my 2087 fed once we get to 88 or 89... ...... To me it's kind of either the stepping stone for stars on the rise heading towards the main title (your Ultimate Warrior example), or the belt the second tier of competitors goes after. Ideally I'd keep Star Warrior and Thantos away from it, but it's perfect for Commander Sam and Comrade Terror to fight over. To this day I'd say Pulsar Prime was probably the greatest Interplanetary champion in my game's history.

In my Early Classics re-boot, I introduced it in 2079 (sort of like 1979 when the IC Title was introduced). There are certain main event wrestlers (Omega, Morpheus, Torin Caelum, etc.) that I won't allow to compete for it, as it would be "beneath" them. Like, could you seriously see Hogan or Andre competing for the IC Title in the late 80's?

I introduced the I-P Title in 2088 after i finished up the first year. 2088 added a good split to the roster for guys who could be GWF Champion and guys who could have a really good run with the new title and gives life to the lower card matches. I also didn't have to many squash matches by doing this and every match felt like it had a purpose when i divided up the roster like that.

For me IP title is only defended in the Sol system and you can only challenge for it if you are outside the top ten in rankings (only top 5 challenge for my Universal belt). If you successfully defend the IP (or Hardcore belt) 5 consecutive times you can challenge for the main belt. If you win the main belt, you must vacate the IP title and a tournament is held for the top ranked guys outside the top ten.

I introduced the Interplanetary title in during Invasion 2088 and Lord Nexus and Kraken had a great feud over it.For me it is a belt for second tier wrestlers or a way to push a guy right on the border of main event status.I am currently in 2089 and Bishop Hell is the IP champion and Omega is sending the Galatic Punisher to get the belt.Secondary titles in my feds have led to some great matches of the year and intense feuds.
