Hammerstone for me. Don't really know Alexander other than a guy that Brandi Rhodes namedropped to complete apathy from the crowd in her infamous final AEW appearance. Actively dislike Richards and Janela as performers.

Never Understood the purpose of a private poll if everyone was just going to post who they voted for. Lol
With that said and since it's the thing to do.

Going off what KB said, I voted for Hammerstone ... but like Ted Dibiase always used to say everyone's got a price and am willing to negotiate my vote for a price ...
Haha kidding, but I do like reading some of the rationales. I never really got Janela and I feel like Davey Richard's has a lot of cards but i could be crazy. Hammerstone could be a star and I think getting him another card sooner rather than later will be good. BUT I do like the rationale someone posted about Josh as if his card is obtainable for new players maybe that's the best way to go?

I get what you're saying but it's also fun to read people's reasonings behind who they chose, even if they don't say specifically who they chose. I don't care for Janela at all. Hammerstone and Alexander are both awesome but I don't necessarily feel like either is in desperate need of an update. Then again, I mostly use indy cards along with my Legends cards so I tend to like them to not be SUPER powerful except in rare circumstances. Davey Richards is solid but his ROH card felt WAY overpowered to me so I would actually be hoping for a downgrade if we were to get a new card for him. In short though, I won't be upset with any of the updates other than Janela lol. |

And because Alexander is OOP, and the others can be had - even if Richards has the oldest card - my vote went to him. I also think that Alexander's card in AIW, would not measure up to his current abilities, and thus would need an update most.

Honestly, I'm happy with the current cards for Hammerstone and Janela... The only reason I did not vote for Josh Alexander is because I think we could probably manage to get him updated in the future... I do not have this same feeling with Davey Richards, who I feel could benefit from a new card with more impressive artwork... If we don't get Richards updated now, I don't think it will happen at all.

Tough call but I went for Joey Janela. He needs an update. I actually love the current Hammerstone card but would not be upset about getting a new one.

Its kind of like the real election, there is all sorts of polling that happens so you may have an idea but you are never really sure. Of course as we know polls arent always accurate. I do like the idea of the mystery not influencing votes and the big reveal on Election night. |
