USA Wrestling 48 Gorilla welcomes the fans to the program and throws it to Lance Russell, standing by with Billy Wicks.
Wicks says he came up short last week but will make Stan Hansen tap out today and climb the ladder back to a title shot. Hansen barges into the dressing room and he and Wicks exchange blows until security arrives. Russell throws it back to Gorilla.
Gorilla and The Brain introduce the first match.
1. Killer Kowalski vs. Manny Fernandez Fernandez shows some fire and takes the fight to Kowalski. Fernandez nails him with the Flying Burrito for a two count. Fernandez hits a second Flying Burrito but it isn’t enough to keep Kowalski’s shoulders down. Kowalski rolls out of the ring and Fernandez goes out after him. Fernandez and Kowalski brawl into the crowd and the referee calls for the bell.
Winner - double count out
Gorilla says Kowalski and Fernandez will lock up again soon. The Brain craps all over a list of towns in Ohio USA Wrestling will soon be visiting and introduces the next match.
2. Tiger Conway Jr vs. The Grappler Tiger and The Grappler trade the advantage back and forth. Tiger hits a flying head scissors for a two count. Tiger nails The Grappler with the flying head butt but the Grappler gets his foot on the ropes. Tiger hits a second flying head butt but still can’t put the Grappler away. Tiger catches The Grappler with a flying body press from the top for the win.
Winner - Tiger Conway Jr by pinfall
After the match, The Grappler clips Conway from behind and drills him with the loaded boot. Conway has to be helped to the back.
Gorilla says that The Grappler should be suspended for his post match attack. The Brain says The Grappler is a brilliant strategist and introduces the next match and the referee, James Beard.
3. BIlly Wicks vs. Stan Hansen Wicks and Hansen spend some time trash talking after the bell. The two lock up and Hansen gets the advantage. Hansen plants Wicks with the Borger body slam and throws him out of the ring. Wicks shakes out the cobwebs and rolls back into the ring. Hansen whips him to the ropes and nails him with a lariat for the win.
Winner - Stan Hansen by pinfall
After the match, Hansen pulls Wicks up by the hair and power bombs him three times. He pulls him to his feet and nails him with another lariat. Security swarms the ring but the damage has already been done.
Gorilla says Hansen should be in the same jail cell as the Grappler. The Brain introduces the main event, saying the winner will take on Johnny Valentine next week to determine the #1 contender to the USA Wrestling American Heritage Championship.
4. Larry Zbyszko vs. Antonino Rocca Zbyskzo has the early momentum until Rocca turns him inside out with a clothesline. Rocca hits a flying head scissors for a two count. Zbsyzko battles back and hits a neckbreaker for a two count. Zbyszko hits a piledriver but Rocca gets his foot on the ropes. Zbyszko hits another neckbreaker for a near fall. Rocca locks on a body scissors but can’t get Zbyszko to tap out. Rocca and Zbyszko battle back and forth. Rocca hoists Zbyszko up in the Argentine Backbreaker and Zbyszko submits.
Winner - Antonino Rocca by submission
Gorilla thanks the fans for coming and invites them to tune in next week when Johnny Valentine takes on Antonino Rocca to determine the #1 contender.

USA Wrestling 49 Gorilla and The Brain welcome the audience and plug the main event. Gorilla says both Tiger Conway Jr and Billy Wicks will be out of action for a couple weeks after last week’s attacks. Gorilla introduces the first match.
1. George Steele vs. Randy Rose Rose doesn’t know what to think of Steele and spends some time keeping away from him. Steele grabs him and wears him down with the double arm choke lift. Steele throws Rose out of the ring and Rose smashes him with a chair. The referee calls for the bell.
Winner - George Steele by DQ
The Brain laughs, saying Steele is usually the one to get disqualified. Gorilla says they have a little extra time this week and introduces the next match.
2. Sputnik Monroe vs. Rocky Kernodle Kernodle shows some spunk in the opening minutes and has Sputnik in trouble. Sputnik recovers and nails Kernodle with a knee lift for the win.
Winner - Sputnik Monroe by pinfall
Gorilla says Sputnik badly needed that win and introduces the next match and referee Gary Michael Cappetta.
3. Hacksaw Jim Duggan vs. Red Berry Berry attacks Duggan before the bell. Berry locks on the reverse arm scissors but Duggan gets his foot on the ropes, forcing a rope break. Berry clamps on the Gilligan Twist and Duggan submits.
Winner - Red Berry by submission
The Brain touts Berry as a future champion. Gorilla shakes his head and introduces the next match and referee Dick Woerhle.
4. Killer Kowalski vs. Manny Fernandez Woerhle tells Kowalski and Fernandez to keep it clean and gets out of the way. Fernandez and Kowalski battle back and forth. Fernandez clamps on the sleeper but Kowalski is able to power out of the hold. Kowalski takes control but Fernandez catches him with a small package to turn things around. Fernandez nails Kowalski with the flying burrito for a two count. Fernandez hits a second flying burrito but Kowalski gets his foot on the ropes. Fernandez argues with Woerhle and Kowalski attacks him from behind. Kowalski hits the bombs away knee drop but Fernandez is too close to the ropes to cover. Kowalski locks on the Kowalski Claw and Fernandez gives up.
Winner - Kowalski by submission
Gorilla puts over the impressive showing by Fernandez but The Brain says he’s a loser and introduces the main event.
5. Johnny Valentine vs. Antonino Rocca Valentine and Rocca grapple back and forth. Valentine throws Rocca out to the floor but Rocca kicks him senseless and throws him back into the ring. Rocca catches Valentine with a flying body press from the top for a two count. Valentine keeps coming back but Rocca keeps shutting him down with his agility. Rocca regains the momentum and hoists Valentine up in the Argentine Backbreaker. Valentine submits.
Winner - Antoniono Rocca by submission! Antonino Rocca will face Jim Londos next week!
Gorilla thanks the fans for watching and invites them to tune in next week for the big American Heritage Championship match!

USA Wrestling 50 Gorilla welcomes the fans to the show and hypes the main event. He throws it to Lance Russell, standing by in the crowd with Stan Hansen and The Grappler.
Hansen and Grappler drink beer and laugh when Russell brings up Wicks and Conway being injured. Hansen said they got what they deserved. The Grappler is about to speak when Tiger Conway Jr and Billy Wicks attack Hansen and the Grappler with chairs! The four men brawl until security pulls them apart. Russell throws it back to the studio and Gorilla introduces the first match.
1. Johnny Valentine vs. Manny Fernandez Valentine and Fernandez each have something to prove after last week and come out throwing bombs. Valentine nails Fernandez with a backbreaker for a quick win.
Winner - Johnny Valentine by pinfall
Gorilla said Valentine will be back in the title picture in no time. Gorilla runs down a list of towns in Utah and New Mexico USA Wrestling will be visiting soon. The Brain introduces the next match, a rematch from next week.
2. George Steele vs. Randy Rose Rose takes control early and nails Steele with a clothesline. Rose hits the Rose Bomb for a two count. Rose hits two more Rose Bombs for the win.

The Brain puts over Randy Rose to a ridiculous degree. Gorilla says we have some extra time this week and introduces the next match.
3. Abdullah the Butcher vs. Tommy Gilbert Gilbert tries to out wrestle Abdullah, going for the figure four wristlock, but Abdullah jabs him in the leg with a foreign object. Abdullah throws Gilbert out of the ring but Gilbert nails him with a chair and rolls him back in. Gilbert hits a second rope knee drop for a two count. Gilbert nails Abdullah with the running knee lift but The Butcher gets his foot on the rope before the three count. Abdullah rolls out of the ring and Gilbert goes out after him. Gilbert clobbers Abdullah with a chair and the referee calls for the bell.
Winner - Abdullah the Butcher by DQ
Gorilla says it must be a full moon because Abdullah doesn’t win by disqualification very often. The Brain introduces the next match.
4. Larry Zbyszko vs. Dan Spivey Spivey overpowers Zbyszko in the opening minutes. Zbyszko schoolboys Spivey with a handful of tights for a two count. Zbyszko has a hard time following up but hits a backbreaker for a two count. Zbyszko goes to the top but Spivey launches him halfway across the ring. Spivey hits a power bomb but Zbyszko gets his foot on the ropes before the three count. Spivey hits a second power bomb but it isnt’ enough to put Zbyszko away. Zbyszko turns things around and hits a backbreaker for the three count.
Winner - Larry Zbyszko by pinfall
The Brain puts over Larry Zbyszko and Gorilla announces that next week’s main event will be Billy Wicks & Tiger Conway Jr vs. Stan Hansen & The Grappler. The Brain introduces the main event.
5. Jim Londos vs. Antonino Rocca - American Heritage Championship match Londos and Rocca battle back and forth. Londos and Rocca battle outside the ring and Londos has a hard time getting back into the ring after Rocca kicks him senseless. Londos and Rocca battle back and forth. Rocca hits a series of dropkicks, putting Londos on the mat. Londos feeds into another series of dropkicks and Rocca has the champ in trouble. Rocca hits another series of dropkicks and goes for a monkey flip but Londos transitions into a crotch lift and slam. Londos locks on a grinding armbar but Rocca is able to escape the hold. Londos hits a fireman’s carry slam. Londos locks on the Boston Crab but Rocca makes it to the ropes. Londos hits another fireman’s carry slam. Londos hits another crotch lift and slam for the win.
Winner - Jim Londos by pinfall, his second title defense
The timekeeper hands Londos the belt and the arena goes dark. There’s a flash of fire and the lights come back on. Londos is down, clutching his face and The Sheik attacks him with a foreign object with Abdullah Farouk in tow. The Sheik has returned to USA Wrestling!

1. Red Berry vs. Tommy Gilbert Berry tries to attack Gilbert with a chair during the introductions but Gilbert counters and clobbers him with the chair. Gilbert brawls with Berry outside the ring. Gilbert hits the running knee lift for a two count. Gilbert nails Berry with a back suplex for a near fall. Gilbert hits the second rope knee drop and covers Berry but Berry gets his foot on the ropes. Gilbert nails Berry with another running knee lift for the win.
Winner - Tommy Gilbert by pinfall
Gorilla puts over Tommy Gilbert and The Brain says Red Berry was cheated. Gorilla throws it to Gary Michael Cappetta.
2. Killer Kowalski vs. Hacksaw Jim Duggan Duggan and Kowalski duke it out in the center of the ring. Kowalski comes out on top and locks on the Kowalski Claw but Duggan fights his way out of the hold. Kowalski hits the bombs away knee drop but can’t follow up on it. Duggan takes control and throws Kowalski out of the ring but Kowalski drags Duggan under the bottom rope and slams him into the ring post. Kowalski clamps on the Kowalski claw and Duggan submits.
Winner - Killer Kowalski by submission
The Brain is impressed by Kowalski. Gorilla announces next week’s main event - Jim Londos putting the American Heritage Championship on the line against The Sheik! The Brain introduces the next match and the referee, Morgan Dollar.
3. Sputnik Monroe vs. Abdullah the Butcher Dollar checks for people under the ring and gets the hell out of the way. Sputnik and Abdullah battle back and forth. Abdullah hits a karate thrust to the throat. Sputnik makes a comeback and hits a running knee lift for a two count. Sputnik hits a second running knee lift and covers Abdullah for a two count. Abdullah makes a comeback and hits the torture rack slam for a two count. Sputnik nails Abdullah with another running knee lift for a two count. Sputnik hits a flying body press from the top for a two count. Sputnik hits the neckbreaker for the win.

The Brain says Sputnik impressed the hell out of him with that win. Gorilla plugs the main event one last time and introduces the match.

The Grappler makes a comeback and tags in Hansen. Hansen nails Tiger with a lariat for a two count. Tiger dodges a turnbuckle charge and rolls Hansen up with a two count. Tiger hits a belly to belly suplex and tags in Wicks. Wicks and Hansen battle back and forth. Wicks catches Hansen with an elbow in the corner and rolls him up for a two count. Wicks clamps on the double wristlock and Hansen taps out.
