USA Wrestling 2.18
Gorilla and the Brain welcome the fans to the show. Gorilla says in order to allow more time for The Crusher vs. The Sheik and Johnny Valentine vs. Bruiser Brody, the first two matches this week will be joined in progress.
1. John Pesek vs. Bill White
Pesek takes White to the mat with the double bar hammerlock and transitions to the scissors & wristlock. White wastes no time in tapping out.
Winner - John Pesek by submission
2. Tony Anthony vs. Yukon Eric
Anthony tortures Eric. Eric makes a comeback and squashes Anthony in the turnbuckles. Eric covers Anthony for the three count.
Winner - Yukon Eric by pinfall
Gorilla puts over the wins by John Pesek and Yukon Eric. The Brain throws it to Lance Russell standing by with Strangler Lewis and John Pesek. Lewis says he goes way back with Londos and has his eyes on the USA Wrestling American Heritage Championship. Stan Hansen interrupts the interview and nails Lewis and Pesek with Lariats! Hansen grabs the mic and says he’s good as new and everyone better watch out!
Gorilla says Lewis and Pesek better watch themselves. The Brain introduces the next match.
3. The Crusher vs. The Sheik
The Crusher takes the fight to the Sheik and things quickly break down. The Crusher takes Abdullah Farouk’s walking stick and breaks it over The Sheik’s head. The referee calls for the bell.
Winner - The Sheik by disqualification
The Brain says The Crusher should be ashamed of himself. Gorilla rolls his eyes and introduces the main event.
4. Johnny Valentine vs. Bruiser Brody
Valentine and Brody battle back and forth. Brody hoists Valentine up and hits the one-hand body slam for a two count. Brody and Valentine battle outside the ring and Valentine comes out on top. Valentine hits a backbreaker for a two count. Brody makes a comeback but Valentine dodges a turnbuckle charge and rolls him up for a two count. Valentine nails Brody with an atomic skullcrusher but it’s not enough to put Brody away. Brody makes a comeback but Valentine fights back and nails him with another atomic skullcrusher. Valentine hits a third atomic skullcrusher for the win.
Winner - Johnny Valentine by pinfall
The Brain says Johnny Valentine has to be in line for a shot at the American Heritage Championship. Gorilla thanks the fans and tells them to tun in next week when Jim Londos defends the American Heritage Championship against Strangler Lewis.

USA Wrestling 2.19
Gorilla and the Brain welcome the fans to the show and throw it to Lance Russell standing by with Billy Wicks. Wicks says he’ll be back in action next week and he’s proud that his mentor Strangler Lewis has his back but he prefers to fight his own battles and will settle things with Stan Hansen on his own when the time comes.
Gorilla and the Brain bicker about Wicks returning to action and introduce the first match.
1. Al Snow vs. Larry Zbsyzko
Snow and Zbyszko battle back and forth. Snow gets some momentum going and hits a seated spinebuster for a two count. Snow and Zbsyzko battle outside the ring and Snow clotheslines Zbyszko over the guardrail and into the first row. Zbyszko beats the count back into the ring. Zbsyzko mounts a comeback but can’t seem to hold the momentum. Snow and Zbyszko battle outside the ring. Zbsyzko slams Snow repeatedly with a chair but the referee lets it go. Zbyszko rolls Snow back into the ring and hits a piledriver for the win.
Winner - Larry Zbyszko by pinfall
The Brain puts over Zbyszko and introduces the next match featuring his other favorite wrestler, Red Berry, joined in progress.
2. Sputnik Monroe vs. Red Berry
Monroe puts Berry on the mat with a waistlock takedown and hits a flying body press for a two count. Sputnik drills Berry with a knee lift and hits the Neckbreaker for the win.
Winner – Sputnik Monroe by pinfall
The Brain says Berry was robbed. Gorilla introduces the next match with photographer Mike Lano at ringside.
3. Angeolo Poffo vs. Fritz Von Goering
Von Goering has the early advantage but Poffo nails him with a knee lift for a two count. Von Goering and Poffo battle back and forth and wind up brawling outside the ring. Mike Lano wisely stays out of the way. The referee loses control and calls for the bell.
winner – no contest
4. Jim Londos vs. Strangler Lewis - American Heritage Championship
Londos and Lewis exchange holds and count holds. Londos hits the crotch lift and slam but Lewis rolls away before he can make the cover. Lewis makes a comeback and locks on the double wristlock but Londos is able to escape the hold. Lewis hits the Strangler’s Headlock for a two count. Lewis hits a second Strangler’s Headlock but Londos is too close to the ropes to cover. Lewis dumps Londos out of the ring and Londos forces himself to his feet and rolls back inside. Lewis hits the Strangler’s headlock a third time and Londos is barely able to get his shoulder up. Londos makes a comeback and the two men battle back and forth. Londos hits another crotch lift and slam and covers Lewis for a two count. Lewis makes a comeback and hits the Strangler’s Headlock for a fourth time but Londos kicks out. Lewis throws Londos to the outside and hits a bear hug power bomb. Londos can’t beat the count back into the ring and is counted out.
Winner – Stranger Lewis by count out
Lewis continues attacking Londos after the match until Stan Hansen comes out of the crowd and nails Lewis with the Lariat! Gorilla and the Brain sign off and tell the fans to return next week when Billy Wicks returns to action and The Sheik takes on the Crusher in the main event!

Gorilla and the Brain welcome the fans to the show and plug the main event of The Crusher vs. The Sheik. Gorilla introduces the next match, joined in progress.
1. Billy Wicks vs. JJ Dillon
Dillon body slams Wicks and hits an elbow drop for a two count. Wicks is showing some signs of ring rust. Dillon works over Wicks with a foreign object. Dillon hits another elbow drop for the win.
Winner - JJ Dillon.by pinfall
Gorilla says Wicks may have rushed back to the ring. The Brain says he got what was coming to him and throws it to ring announcer Gary Michael Cappetta.
2. Mikey Whipwreck vs. Bruiser Brody
Brody and Mikey duke it out while Gary Michael Cappetta is doing the introductions. Mikey gets the upper hand but Brody throws him across the ring. Brody mauls the youngster and hits a one-hand body slam for a two count. MIkey takes a tremendous beating and miraculously makes a comeback. Brody nearly kicks his head off to turn things around and covers him for a two count. Mikey surprises Brody with a tornado DDT for a two count. Brody hits a twisting vertical suplex for a two count. Brody hits the jumping knee drop for the win.
Winner - Bruiser Brody by pinfall
Lance Russell interviews The Crusher about his match with the Sheik. The interview is interrupted by Abdullah Farouk and a newcomer. Farouk introduces the newcomer as Sabu, the Sheik’s nephew, and says people like The Crusher should be on notice. The Crusher calls Sabu a bum like his uncle and says he’ll fight him next week. Russell throws it back to Gorilla and the Brain, who introduce the next match.
3. Angelo Poffo vs. Fritz Von Goering
Von Goering gets the early advantage and clotheslines Poffo to the mat. Von Goering hits the backbreaker for a two count. Von Goering works over Poffo and hits another backbreaker but can’t put the world situp champion away. Poffo rallies and hits a neckbreaker for a two count. Poffo nails Von Goering with a running stomp but can’t put him away. Von Goering makes a comeback and hits a knee drop from the top rope for the win.
Winner - Fritz Von Goering by pinfall
4. The Crusher vs. The Sheik
The Crusher and The Sheik quickly end up brawling outside the ring . The Sheik gets a foreign object out of his tights but The Crusher takes it from him and drills him with it. The referee calls for the bell and gets showered with trash.
Winner - The Sheik by DQ
Gorilla and the Brain sign off, telling the fans to tune in next week when The Crusher takes on Sabu and Strangler Lewis gets another crack at Jim Londos and the American Heritage Championship.

USA Wrestling 2.21
The Brain and Gorilla welcome the fans to the show. The Brain craps on a bunch of Minnesota towns USA Wrestling will be visiting soon and Gorilla introduces the first match.
1. John Pesek vs. JJ Dillon
Dillon gets the early advantage on Pesek and hits the elbow drop for a two count. Pesek makes a comeback but can’t hold the momentum. Dillon hits an ax-handle off the turnbuckle for a two count. Pesek takes control and locks on the scissors & wristlock but Dillon escapes the hold, clutching his wrist. Pesek locks on the tigerman toehold but Dillon fights his way to the ropes. Pesek hits a waistlock slam for a two count and clamps on the tigerman toehold. Dillon taps out.
Winner - Pesek by submission
Pesek refuses to release the hold until Billy Wicks enters the ring and questions him. Strangler Lewis joins them and the three men argue until the referee urges them to the back.
Gorilla says there seems to be a situation developing between Wicks and his mentor. The Brain introduces the next match and points out Mike Lano at ringside.
2. Jim Duggan vs. Rod Fenton
Duggan eyeballs Lano as the match begins, remembering Lano getting in his way in the past. Duggan levels Fenton with the tough guy clothesline and hits the flying spear. Fenton gets his foot on the rope before the three count. Fenton rolls out of the ring and Duggan chases him. Fenton shoves Lano in the way and Duggan crashes into him. Fenton rolls Duggan into the ring and goes to work but Duggan is soon back in control. Fenton and Duggan brawl outside the ring. Duggan comes out on top and hits a piledriver for a two count. Duggan hits the flying spear for the win.
Winner - Hacksaw Jim Duggan by pinfall
Gorilla puts over Duggan and Brain says Lano should sue Duggan for all the trouble he causes. Gorilla introduces the next match and referee James Beard.
3. The Crusher vs. Sabu
Sabu takes a beating from the Crusher early on. The Crusher locks on the Crusher Nelson but Sabu makes it to the ropes. The Crusher clamps on the Stomach Claw but Sabu fights him off. The Crusher wears Sabu down with the Crusher Nelson and nails him with the Crusher Bolo for the win.
Winner - The Crusher by pinfall
The Sheik attacks the Crusher after the match, bloodying him with a foreign object. Sabu grabs a chair from ringside and hits two Arabian Facebusters. The Crusher has to be stretchered out.
Gorilla and The Brain are aghast. Gorilla stutters as he introduces the main event.
4. Jim Londos vs. Strangler Lewis - American Heritage Championship match
Londos is the aggressor early on and hits the crotch lift and slam. Londos hits another crotch lift and slam and locks on the short-arm scissors. Lewis almost taps but manages to escape the hold. Lewis makes a comeback and catches Londos in a double wristlock but Londos escapes the hold. Lewis hits the Strangler’s headlock but Londos kicks out. Lewis hits another Strangler’s Headlock but Londos is too close to the ropes to pin. Lewis throws Londos out of the ring and slams him into the ring post, busting him open. Londos barely beats the count back into the ring. Lewis hits the bear hug power bomb for the win.
Winner - Strangler Lewis by pinfall! Lewis is the new American Heritage Champion!

It was bound to happen eventually but Londos went down fighting. He brought legitimacy back to the belt. That was the only substantial run I've had with the color Londos card. |
