PART ONE
COUNT NECROS def. Killer Queen. *1/2
- Necros pinned Queen after a PHANTOM DUST. -- Tokens: Queen 1
- The current DWL (Draconian Wrestling League) Cruiserweight Champion, Coven Black, made an unexpected appearance and caused a distraction that allowed Necros to gain the upper hand. It was a dramatic way to kick off this event.
COSMIC FORCES (Matter & Antimatter) def. TitanPower (Billy Jo Boxer & Lord Nexus) via DQ. dud
- Boxer was disqualified <pin save> when Nexus pulled the referee out of the ring to prevent a near fall. -- Tokens: Boxer 2
- Cosmic Forces used some questionable double team tactics to prevent Boxer from making a much needed tag. Antimatter hit Boxer with a NEGATIVE CHARGE and attempted a cover. Nexus lost control of his temper, leading to a disappointing technical decision.
LANCE AT-LAS & GREEK GODS (Proteus & Actagon) def. Bishop Hell & Executioners (Death Masque & Whiplash). **
- Actagon pinned Masque after teaming with Proteus for a DUAL OVERHEAD TOSS. -- Tokens: Masque 1
- This contest quickly spiraled out of control, but the referee offered plenty of leniency to see how things played out. At-Las and Bishop engaged in a heated exchange after the bell that was quickly broken up by their respective teammates.
Jupiter, Cupid & Honos marched into the ring and made some derisive remarks about the preceding match. The trio was not pleased about being left off the card, adding that Magnus Colby had made a real mistake by neglecting to offer them an invitation. The fans jeered the arrogant Offspring of Janus the Overman which caused Cupid to smirk and Honos to scowl. Jupiter took the lead, informing the crowd that O3 would rise to the top of the industry and no one would stand in their way.
VYPER def. Tongsoon, Splatter and Adam Blast in a Four Sided Elimination match. ***1/2
- Order of elimination:
1. Blast (3 tokens) pinned by Tongsoon after a BATTLE CRY.
2. Splatter (2 tokens) pinned by Vyper after a DDT.
3. Tongsoon (5 tokens) tapped out by Vyper (2 tokens) with an ANACONDA VICE.
- The action moved at a frantic pace as all four competitors tried to maintain the advantage while protecting themselves from a blindside. Tongsoon was busted wide open following an ADAM'S ATOMIC DROP on the floor that sent him crashing into the rails. He still managed to hit Blast with a low blow that went unseen by the referee, enabling him to score the opening elimination. Vyper emerged as the star of the encounter, fending off a cooperative effort by Splatter and Tongsoon for a thrilling victory.
AMAZONIA def. Rhea. squash
- Amazonia pinned Rhea after a RUNNING SABRE. -- Tokens: Rhea 3
- Mr Colby's daughter, Fhanna, joined Rocket and Doomsayer to provide commentary for this match. Rhea wasted time taunting Fhanna and Amazonia capitalized on the opportunity.
While the cage was being put into place for the upcoming match, Johnny Rocket conducted a quick interview with Amazonia. She stated that she was honored to participate in this memorable event and spoke about her appreciation for the fans that have always offered their support. When asked about Wolf, she replied that it was not her place to comment on the business of her longtime companion.
GALACTIC PUNISHER (w/ Calamity) def. Justice in a Cosmic Cage match. ****
- Punisher pinned Justice after a Falling Face Slam. -- Tokens: Punisher 3 - Justice 5
- This was an emotionally charged encounter between two former friends. Despite being locked outside, Calamity found a way to assist by tossing a leather bag filled over the cage wall and into his fellow Mercenary's hands. Punisher dropped the bag and then executed a precision move that was originally made famous by a previous mentor. Justice's face hit the bag, causing it to split open and bullets spilled across the canvas! Bleeding heavily, Justice could not regain his senses in time to avoid defeat.
