I am wondering if there is a way to set up a match between 2 different rosters, or to possibly have a wrestler switch rosters? I currently have the Original edition 2087 online, but when I buy Invasion 2088-90, will I be able to combine them all? I also have FTR and FTR 2 online, is there a way to have matches between the 2087 roster and the FTR roster?

If I'm understanding your questions correctly, yes, you can do cross-roster matches. With the GWF sets, I believe the wrestlers from the previous editions are automatically readded to the new years. I believe in some cases, small updates are made to stats. (I think Pit Viper and Pulsar in 2089 have some slight tweaks.)
As far as FTR vs. GWF matches, you should be able to get wrestlers from both on the main game table page, without selecting specific rosters. If you're looking to do a regular fed online with these characters, I would suggest building a custom roster and then adding wrestlers from the respective sets to that custom roster. Hope that helps!

yeah, you can cross over anything. You can also build custom rosters if you want to do a regular fed like say put in the FTR guys to supplement your 87 fed.

Online definitely has more to it than I originally thought. I probably jumped the gun on posting that question (should have done my homework first and thoroughly checked the site).
