Well, I must admit that I'm VERY disappointed that my Vampire brother has been ousted in the opening round... Meaning we won't get to see him in next year's tournament either... And I have to point out that without his special fatigue mechanic, Muldoon would have lost that contest following that missed charge into the turnbuckles.... However, it was an exceptional match and lots of fun to read.
Windham should be able to get past Rotunda... Let's see how the managers affect the outcome.

Said the Solid Man would take it and he did. I do think Windham has the better chance in the next match.

Back in the ring, back elbow connects, leg drop misses. Windham with a suplex. Shakes out the shoulder and arm. Windham with a smash off the top. SWEETWATER SUPERPLEX. 1, 2 kick out (R5/P4). Rotundo kicks out of a quick count by Morgan Dollar. Windham with a figure four leglock. Rotundo rolls out of the hold (R10/P5). Back to the floor, Windham with a chop block. Rotundo is down . . . 7, 8, 9, back inside. Figure four leglock. Suplex. Press for 1, 2, kick out! (R11/P7). Back outside, Brawl… ROARING. Rotundo counters. Elbow drop lands. Windham takes a breather and consult with Dillon… HEAT. Atomic drop from Rotundo. Elbow drop. Cover for 1 (R10/P3). Back and forth. Rotundo fires up with a leg drop and elbows. Running lariat catches Windham. 1, 2, kick out (R8/P4). Another lariat . . . misses. Power slam by Windham. Toss to the floor. Chair shot across back of Rotundo . . . HEAT! 8, 9, 10… Rotundo is counted out.

Brunzell is out . . . eats the table. Savage takes it back outside. Brunzell goes head first into the post. CRIMSON IS FLOWING, HEAT! Morgan Dollar is counting 6, 7, 8, Brunzell back in. Savage shows no mercy. Rope straddles, neckbreaker clothesline, jabs. Brunzell falls to the floor. Savage out. Brunzell rams his head into the ringside table. Brunzell with a sleeper. Savage escapes (R8/P2). Figure four leglock… ROARING. Savage makes the ropes and escapes to the floor. Brawl on the floor. Back in the ring, Brunzell to the top . . . deathjump cross body . . . 1, 2, kick out (R6/P3). It is all Brunzell. Flying headscissors again and again. Leg scissors slows it down and jumping knee smashes land. Savage to the floor. BRAWLING. Macho Man takes it back outside. Brunzell bounces Savage’s face into the ringside table again. Brunzell is on fire again. Jumping knee smashes, flying head scissors. Savage has no defense. Into the corner . . . CRACK SKULLS! Brunzell is up first . . . sleeper. Savage to the floor. Crawls back in. Another sleeper. Savage is in trouble. Flying head scissors… Cover 1, 2, ¾ (R5/P4). THOUGHT IT WAS OVER! Brunzell to the top . . .ROARING. Savage knocks the ropes! Brunzell crashes. Piledriver. Brawl on the floor again. Savage drive bombs off the top. FLYING ELBOW SMASH. Three count (R7/P8).
