Regardless of the result, Brisco and Patterson truly delivered the goods in that match... WOW!
Johnny Valentine is no slouch, but the Macho Man is going over... OHHH, YEAH!
And I think Alfonso will be the deciding factor in what could/should be a brutal encounter... RVD will emerge victorious... Unless all hell breaks loose... Which is a definite possibility.

Valentine and Savage trade blows. “Macho Man” grabs a chair . . . SMASH ACROSS THE BACK! Marella makes the disqualification call. Valentine escapes into the next round.
Bruiser Brody (14) v. Rob Van Dam w/Bill Alfonso (19)
It is mayhem as Brody clears ringside with his swinging chain. Morgan Dollar attempts to lay down the law . . .YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME! Fans can smell the disqualification already. Back and forth counters. Van Dam with a body scissors cradle. Back and forth again. Brody caught in another body scissors cradle. Van Dam with a rolling fireman’s carry. Back elbow. Brody to the mat and standing moonsault lands. Two more land. Brody into a back elbow. Monkey flip. Another. Rolling fireman’s carry and standing moonsault. Cover for ½ only (R10/P2). WOW! Van Dam waves off Van Daminator. Standing moonsault. He waves off the Van Daminator again. Brody into the ropes instead. Brody with piledriver counter! Tombstone piledriver. Hammer punches. Another tombstone blocked. Van Dam explodes. Rolling fireman’s carry, standing and split legged moonsault. Another split legged moonsault. 1, kick out (R8/P5). Van Dam to the top . . . FIVE STAR FROG SPLASH. 1, 2, 3 (R4/P7).

Macho Man is robbed by an overzealous Joey Marella... Gotta wonder if Dollar's prematch instructions somehow threw Brody off his game... And it certainly didn't help that RVD was simply ON FIRE! J-Lynn has been really hot in some other feds around the board lately, but now he's gotta go one-on-one with THE GREAT ONE!  Agreeing with TTX for this set... Gama and Da' Crusher advance. |
