Breaking news time! Paul Heyman has been released from his WWE contract. Details as to why have not been revealed. I had the chance to talk to Paul Heyman on the phone earlier this afternoon and he told me that he is opening another promotion. Since WWE owns Extreme Championship Wrestling he can not restart it.
However, Paul Heyman said that he is starting a promotion in the same style of ECW. It will be called the Intense Wrestling Federation. He has told me that he is working on getting a television deal.
He has stated that the promotion will start in January 2023. He says that he has been scouting talent and there will be more information on the roster soon.
