Hi everyone:
I just had an interesting experience at work today. As I was serving one of my regular customers she was telling me that she was on her way to play her first game of Dungeons & Dragons. I mentioned to her that a friend had tried to get me into that game a few years ago but it just didn't hold my interest. I casually mentioned COTG to her saying that it was the "nerdy" game that I play.
After she left the store the customer behind her, who had overheard our conversation, asked me more about the game. I explained it to him in greater detail and his eyes lit up with excitement. I gave him the website address and he said he was going to check it out when he got home. With luck I may have just brought a new fan on board without necessarily meaning to.
This just goes to show that sometimes it's a good thing to listen in on other people's conversations. LOL!
