Kerry Morton was my #2 guy I was wanting in this set. Now I’m just hoping for Charles Mason.

I signed Kerry Morton last November when I was in New Orleans at the meet and greet for the NWA's Hard Times PPV where later that night he won the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship.
I had been talking to Kerry online about the game for awhile and already had a verbal yes, but I just had not gotten the form back until I saw him in New Orleans. However, Kerry remembered me and he said "lets make this official" and he signed the form. Ricky Morton was there too at the time and he told me he had no problem with Kerry signing since the release form is a nonexclusive agreement.
Although he has been acting like a heel in GCW, I will be using Kerry Morton in my VWA fed as a face as he is usually a face in feds outside of GCW.

Kerry Morton, come on I have been watching NWA USA/Power for the last say 2 years on youtube. I know his dad Ricky is already in Legends. What about Ricky in Indies as a tag team? I know Kerry is currently a single title holder though.

I completely agree with the decision to make Kerry Morton the preorder announcement this week as he probably has the most crossover appeal (meaning both LOW and Indy brands.) However, you could make a strong argument (for example based on the most recent PWI 500) that the top name in this set has not been announced yet. Thank you to everybody here for supporting the Indy brand! This brand obviously means the most to me. I am proud to work for the game on this brand and I promise to always do my best and work hard! We have some more very cool/ surprising announcements (please note how I underlined surprising as it is a current name but not a name suggested by anybody here as of this posting  ) coming before the cards get released in April and some more great names also coming later this year and into 2024 too! Buckle up! Some more great names are on the way! |
