Event #22 Television Taping
One Fall, 20 Minute Time Limit Tag Team Match The Powers of Pain (W) vs The Mulkeys
Intercontinental Championship, One Fall, 15 Minute Time Limit
Pat Patterson (c) (W) vs Marty Jannetty
(Pat Patterson attempted to sneak up behind Marty Jannetty during his entrance from Gary Michael Capeta, however, Janetty must have been aware of Patterson's recent behavior and anticipated the attack from Patterson and was able to get a strong start to the contest, however Pat Patterson's masterful abilities in terms of rule breaking were just too much for Marty Jannetty to overcome in the end.)
One Fall, 20 Minute Time Limit Tag Team Grudge Match
The Midnight Express w/Jim Cornette vs The Heavenly Bodies w/Jimmy Hart
(As The Midnight Express and Jim Cornette joined Lance Rusell and Bill Apter at the announce desk, they were attacked from behind by the Heavenly Bodies with steel chairs! Lance Russell attempts to restore order as the show goes to a commerical break.)
One Fall, 15 Minute Time Limit
Vader w/ Jimmy Hart (W)vs Mikey Whipwreck
(Mikey Whipwreck fought valiantly against the onslaught of Vader. In the end, the referee took an unfortunate hit in the corner allowing for Jimmy Hart to throw in the mega phone. Both men scrambled for the megaphone but it was Vader who was successful in taking possesion of it and he struck Mikey over the head with it before disposing of it outside of the ring. Vader delivered a vicious powerbomb as the referee regained consciousness and counted the three.)
United States Championship, One Fall, Television Time Remaining
Larry Zybysko (c) vs Sergeant Slaughter (W)
(Larry Zybysko was disqualified after attempted interference on behalf of Jimmy Hart. Sergeant Slaughter wins by disqualification but the title does not change hands.)

Event # 23 Television Taping
One Fall, Fifteen Minute Time Limit Singles Match
Antonio Inoki (W) vs Mikey Whipwreck
(Antonio Inoki, clearly recognizing the heart and fighting spirit of Mikey Whipwreck, gave Mikey a stern slap which silenced the studio audience. The silence was broken as Inoki bowed his head to Whipwreck, who returned the gesture much to the delight of the fans.)
Intercontinental Championship, One Fall, 15 Minute Time Limit Singles Match
Pat Patterson (c)(W) vs D'lo Brown
One Fall, 20 Minute Time Limit Tag Team Match
Powers of Pain vs The Bushwhackers
(Another dominant outing by the Powers of the Pain.)
One Fall, 15 Minute Time Limit Singles Match
Sergeant Slaughter (W) vs Keith Steinborn
(After the match, Sergeant Slaughter steps over to the announce desk to have a discussion with Bill Apter. Sergeant Slaughter says that he has already spoken to Comissioner Teddy Long, and that Larry Zybysko is going to be heading to boot camp soon. Bill Apter confirms there will be a United States Championship rematch but to tune in next week to find out more!)

Event # 24 Preview, Presented by Lance Russell, Bill Apter, and Gordon Solie!
- Antonio Inoki will look to continue his winning ways in a match against S.D. Jones. Antonio Inoki will likely have new protege Mikey Whipwreck at ringside, after the actions last week between the two.
- The Kingdom, who have really become fan favorites in recent weeks, continue their open challenge series. If any team is successful in defeating the Kingdom, they will earn a Tag Team Championship opportunity at a later date. The Love Brothers have accepted the challenge!
- Vader w/ Jimmy Hart vs Brickhouse Brown!
(Vader and Jimmy Hart make an appearance on the set, Jimmy first mocks the Midnight Express and Jim Cornette following last weeks surprise attack with steel chairs. Jimmy then goes on to say that his First Family is the greatest stable of wrestlers in the world today! Vader continues to flex and look menacing in the background, in a low gruntish-voice we hear him saying the name "Andre!")
- Making his long awaited return will be Big John Studd as he is in action against Mike Jackson!
(Comissioner Teddy Long makes an appearance on the set, he says he has several announcements to make tonight. Teddy informs everyone that The Midnight Express and Jim Cornette will be missing action as they were all three injured in last weeks attack. Continuing his championship announcments Teddy Long states that Sergeant Slaughter is indeed receiving a rematch with the United States Champion, Larry Zybysko. Teddy Long announces that match will be none other than a "Boot Camp" match, and that Sergeant Slaughter will have details for us next week. Finally, he addresses the issues between newly crowned World Heavyweight Champion Lou Thesz and Abdullah The Butcher. Once again, he mentions that the championship rematch clause has been invoked on behalf of Adbullah The Butcher and that the match will take place in March, in the Omni in Atlanta!)

Event # 24 Television Taping
One Fall, 15 Minute Time Limit Singles Contest
Antonio Inoki (w/Mikey Whipwreck) (W) vs S.D. Jones
(After the match, both men shake hands, and again Antonio Inoki delivers a thunderous slap to S.D. Jones. After a brief moment, S.D. bows to Inoki, Mikey Whipwreck joins them in the ring and the three man stand with their hands raised. It seems as if Antonio Inoki has taken a couple protege's under his wing.)
One Fall, 20 Minute Limit, Tag Team Contest, Non-Title
The Kingdom (W) vs Texas Hangmen
(The Love Brothers were scheduled to appear, but did not make the event. )
One Fall, 15 Minute Time Limit, Singles Contest
Vader (W) vs Brickhouse Brown
(After the match, Jimmy Hart and Vader take turns taunting Andre The Giant. Vader desperately wants to get Andre in the ring, but conveniently as of this time The Giant is touring Japan, and is unavailable.)
One Fall, Television Time Remaining, Singles Contest
Big John Studd vs The British Bulldog (W)
(In another instance of the card being subhect to change, The Biritish Bulldog was a last minute replacement for Mike Jackson. Seemingly this threw Big John Studd off his game plan as he struggled to mount any offensive against the faster, more agile Bulldog. The show ends with a look of rage on the face of Big John Studd.)

Mikey Whipwreck vs S.D. Jones
(Antonio Inoki will be at ringside observing his protege's of the Inoki Battle Group)
One Fall, Fifteen Minute Time Limit
The British Bulldog vs Vader

Intercontinental Championship, One Fall, 30 Minute Time Limit
Pat Patterson (c) vs Antonio Inoki
(The leader of the Inoki Battle Group, Antonio Inoki looks to bring championship gold home as an inspiration for the members of the Inoki Battle Group. Pat Patterson looks to continue his winning ways.)
One Fall, No Time Limit, Tag Team Grudge Match
The Midnight Express (w/ Jim Cornette) vs The Heavenly Bodies (w/Jimmy Hart)
(The bad blood between these two teams is palpable. After the vicious chair shot attacks on television, the Midnight Express look to bring a measure of revenge to the Heavenly Bodies.)
14-Man Over The Top Rope Battle Royale
(Feat., DDP, Macho Man, Barry Windham, Nick Bockwinkle, RVD, Harley Race, Bill Dundee, Ox Baker, Roddy Piper, Ted Dibiase, A.J. Styles, Kurt Angle, Gorgeous George, and Big John Studd.)
United States Championship, Boot Camp Match
Larry Zybysko (w/ Jimmy Hart) vs Sergeant Slaughter
(Larry Zybysko may well be the most intelligent man in all of professional wrestling. Most recently, using the champions advantage rule to retain his United States Championship by getting himself disqualified. Comissioner Teddy Long has taken the request of Sergeant Slaughter to heart, and put these two men in a Boot Camp Match. With no champions advantage at play, Larry Zybysko faces quite the uphill battle in his quest to retain the gold.)
Tag Team Championship Texas Bullrope Match
The Kingdom vs The Texas Hangmen
(After last weeks surprisingly competitive contest, The Kingdom have given in to a request for a rematch with the Texas Hangmen. However, it's not just any rematch, it's going to be a Texas Bull Rope Match for the most coveted Tag Team prize in the game.)
World Heavyweight Championship, No Time Limit
Lou Thesz (c) vs Abdullah The Butcher
(Lou Thesz looks to repel the challenge of Abdullah The Butcher with the skill of a wrestler, not the blood lust of a mad man as Lou has said. Will pure wrestling be enough to stave off the Sudanese Butcher once more?)

One Fall, Fifteen Minute Time Limit
Mikey Whipwreck vs S.D. Jones (W)
( In a good showing from both participants, S.D. Jones exhibited a little more fighting spirit and in the end was able to put away his stable mate, and further impress the leader of Inoki Battle Group, Antonio Inoki)
One Fall, Fifteen Minute Time Limit
The British Bulldog vs Vader (W)
(In a grueling back and forth encounter the seemingly unstoppable Vader put another check mark in the win column.)
Intercontinental Championship, One Fall, 30 Minute Time Limit
Pat Patterson (c) (W) vs Antonio Inok
( In a match that many felt ended in a bit of an upset, the wiley veteran Pat Patterson was able to hold on to the Intercontinental Championship. Patterson's willingness to risk disqulaification paid dividends and he walked away with the championship)
One Fall, No Time Limit, Tag Team Grudge Match
The Midnight Express (w/ Jim Cornette) (W) by DQ vs The Heavenly Bodies (w/Jimmy Hart)
(The Heavenly Bodies seemingly wasted no time getting Jimmy Hart involved, and with a blatant shot to the head of Bobby Eaton with the megaphone, we see the Midnight Express win by disqualification. As Bobby Eaton is attended to by ringside physicians, Comissioner Teddy Long comes from the back and has what appears to be a heated verbal conversation with Jimmy Hart. Unfortunately we were unable to hear what exactly was being said.)
14-Man Over The Top Rope Battle Royale
Ox Baker (W)
(After the battle royale, Ox Baker makes it known that he is going to be the next in line to challenge for the United States Championship, his championship he tells Lance Russell at ringside. Ox Baker reminds everyone he was the inaugural United States Champion, and soon will be champion again.)
United States Championship, Boot Camp Match
Larry Zybysko (w/ Jimmy Hart) vs Sergeant Slaughter (W)
(In an absolute bloodbath, Sergeant Slaughter ultimately did as he predicted and defeated Larry Zybysko becoming the new United States Champion. The violent end which saw multiple chair shots to defenseless Zybysko left the former champion injured. He was accompanied to the hospital by Jimmy Hart. We hope to have more information soon.)
Tag Team Championship Texas Bullrope Match
The Kingdom (c) (W) vs The Texas Hangmen
(The Kingdom's popularity continues to rise, as they took on the challenge of the The Texas Hangmen at their own signature match and overcame the odds. The champions celebrated in the ring with Maria.)
World Heavyweight Championship, No Time Limit
Lou Thesz (c) (W) vs Abdullah The Butcher
(Once again it was the pure grappling prowess of Lou Thesz up against the sheer savagery of the Sudanese Madman himself Abdullah The Butcher. Once again a bloodied and battered Lou Thesz retains the championship.)

As a measure of revenge, Beefcake cut off some of Mark Henry's Dreadlocks and took them as trophies of war. Pat Patterson (c) (W) vs Jim Duggan (In Patterson's toughest encounter to date, he manages to retain the Intercontintental Championship.) I suspect Beefcake may regret that haircut. I wouldn't want to make a large man like Mark Henry angry. At the same time with the victory Brutus showed Henry exactly what can happen when you don't take your opponent seriously.
