Date: The distant future
Place: Dorado in a large saloon that neighbors a busy space port.
Inside the currently empty Dorado Sundown Saloon a jukebox is playing Ted Nugent's "Stranglehold". The blazing solo plays as we focus on a grizzled late middle aged man sitting at the bar that's being tended by a droid. The man grabs the shot glass in front of him and downs the jagermeister in it before turning around to look at the big open floor space that contains an old but in decent condition wrestling ring several feet away from him.
The man gets up and walks over to the ring, steps onto the apron and wipes his feet as he reminisces on crowd noises heard long ago. He steps in between the ropes and onto the canvas with a large red DZW logo. He looks out the windows to the hustle and bustle of tourists, renegades, ramblers, rogues, as well as some of the scum and villainy that are the Outlaws who will brazenly rob you just because they can.
The man thinks to himself...
"My god it's been a long time. Once again I stand inside this ring after nearly 2 decades. Hell, we ain't in Kansas anymore that's for sure. People complain about how bad Earth has gotten.... compared to Dorado, Earth is a cakewalk. It's the Wild West all over again except now we've added aliens of all kinds... Scum like the Cygnusians who still haven't gotten over the Cygnus vs. Earth war. Decent ones like Andromedans, Titans, and those from Omicron. Worst of all are those warmongering Aethrans who just wish to conquer all races.
Is this a good idea? Bringing DZW back to life in such a hostile environment? Obviously wrestling is still a popular source of entertainment and sport. Dorado could use some combat sports, maybe it'll help with their aggression issues. At least this time I'm the owner and not a combatant anymore... no sir, those days are well behind me. I have someone who can carry on my legacy now, I'll do what I can to mentor and assist but with the talent coming in he has his work cut out for him."
The man is interrupted by a voice in the room...
Voice: "Father, the first transport of talent have arrived. The one who calls himself Big Superstar wishes to speak with you immediately."
Man: "Thank you Kajus, tell Big Superstar I'll speak to him when I am ready... The Ace operates on no man's schedule but his own."
Kajus: "A you wish father..."
As the jukebox plays Public Enemy's "Welcome To The Terrordome" we fade out...

Galactic Wrestling News 05.03.2138
Intergalactic Championship Wrestling Alliance and Danger Zone Wrestling crown singles champions.
From separate parts of the galaxy these two feds held 16 man tournaments to crown their first main singles champions.
In Aldebaran ICWA held their tournament which saw competitors such as Sammael, Akuma The Ninja, Jake Storm, Xaphan, Ciber Naught, SamHain, Skamm, Blludgeon, Trayne, Impala, Slim Jenkins, Baron Michael Strauss, Thunderlips, Rak'Ashan, Porkchop Zamich, & Stone Mountain. In the end Xaphan triumphed over SamHain, Ciber Naught, Akuma The Ninja, & Impala to win the Gold.
Meanwhile, in Dorado from the Dorado Sundown Saloon DZW held their tournament.
The competitors were as follows: Nigel Hawthorne, Lynch, Rook Black, Xerxes, Deacon, Major Slam, Cardinal Sin, King Kobra, Sawtooth, Mark Maverick, Barfly Mike, Goredog, Adam Smasher, Thor Massive, The Ace, & Big Superstar.
The Ace and Big Superstar met in the first round with a special stipulation added to their match. The winner of their match would choose who the DZW Commissioner would be. The Ace's choice was Jim Steel and Big Superstar's was (of course) himself. Big Superstar would go on to defeat The Ace and crown himself the DZW Commissioner.
As for the rest of the tournament.... Rook Black advanced through Xerxes, Nigel Hawthorne in Round 2, Deacon in the Semi-Finals, and Sawtooth in the finals to be crowned the first DZW Champion in nearly 2 decades.
Commissioner B.S. (fitting!) has announced their will be an official DZW Opening Supercard from the Dorado Sundown Saloon called GROUND ZERO. Rook Black will be defending the DZW Title... his opponent is TBD. Commissioner B.S. has also stated that all 12 matches will be randomly paired match ups and the remainder of those not booked in matches will meet in a Battle Royal. Talent from all across the Galaxy have arrived in Dorado for this event... Aethrans, Andromedans, Brymstonians, Earthlings, Cygnusians, Neptunians.

All matches were selected at random. Those not selected in matches were put into a 20 man battle royal. Winner of the battle royal would face Danger Zone Champion Rook Black in the main event of the evening.

Sheik Khalid beat Erik Raver via ALLAH U AHKBAR in the opening bout
Sylas Styles defeated Kajus with the STYLES STRAIGHTJACKET after Kajus missed DOUBLE BARREL BLAST
O'Malley won by DQ over Barfly Mike when Mike smashed him with his kendo stick and wouldnt stop despite several warnings from the ref!
The Cygnusians against Eddie Kamikaze & Blue Cyclone II was declared a NO CONTEST when Ayngar hit the ring before the bell and destroyed both Kamikaze and BC II
THE DANGER ZONE
HOST: Johnny Danger
GUEST: Commissioner Big Superstar
Danger welcomed the Commissioner to The Danger Zone set and asked how things in DZW were going thus far. Big Superstar answered : "Well lemme tell you something Johnny Danger!" Danger's cell phone was ringing and he answered it. Danger held up a finger as if telling Big Superstar "just a sec". From there Danger kept talking and walked off the set leaving The Commissioner hanging....
Grave Digger beat Mark Maverick via count out when Digger sneak attacked Maverick as he was making his entrance! Maverick was not able to get into the ring....
Hunter O'Ryan beat 666 via ORION'S BELT
-- After the match 666 jumped O'Ryan from behind sparking a big brawl between the two! Both men slugged it out all the way back to the backstage area and out of the Saloon!
"Iron Bull" Tommy Silvano beat Violence with LEATHER DYNAMITE
